* The plumber was able to fix the pipe in my basement for much less than I had expected. :D

* My contractor stopped by today and I gave him my "official" order on the windows and siding for the house. Got a better time table from him as well. :D

* Pretty apprehensive about my day tomorrow. Worried even. (as a buddy of mine would say) :(

School assigments are lighter this week, but I am already ready to hang myself at work

1. My sister and her boyfriend were over last night, and this morning I found her underwear on my living room floor under the couch. Hmmmm....

2. I'm disgustingly addicted to black licorice. It's pretty much all I eat when I'm writing.

3. My boobs look bigger today. I'm not pregnant, and I haven't gained any weight. (I guess I could be worse off...)

- The warmer weather and mostly sunny day makes almost everything feel beautiful.

- I'm low on cash until next payday, but I'm high in spirit.

I got the garden in and all my herbs look happy.

* Got to do a bit of work on my car since it was a beautiful day here. Changed the oil and fixed the windshield wiper that pissed me off the other day and am hoping to replace the spark plugs/wires tomorrow.

* Still hoping to get the sleep I need.

Apparently I'm not meant to be able to get the biopsy results that I was supposed to call and get today. Guess I'll just stop in Cedar Rapids on Thursday on my way down to the hospital in Iowa City.

Still waiting for some important documents to arrive in the mail. And no, not the new Playboy, that did come today.

I somehow managed to fill out an NCAA tourney bracket and am not sure how the hell I came up with the champion that I selected.

Work is getting better for me.

I am having surgery on Monday and I really don't want to have it.

I think I will take a walk tonight with my husband.

Had a very nice talk with a friend today who told me what I needed to hear, not just what she thought I wanted to hear. I thank her from the bottom of my heart.

Heard back about my biopsy results just a bit ago. So-so results and, of course, they show that I need more tests. :rofl:

Looks like it will be a fifty-percenter for me with the Steak & BJ thing today. Just not flexible enough to pull off that second part. :(

- I had a great, creative day yesterday and I'm still feeling the energy from it today, which I desperately want to use before it goes away.

- My Chinese Muslim friend who works at the takeout joint (it's a halal chinese place because of the large Islamic community in my neighborhood, so no pork dishes in their selections) in my area was not there today because of school, so there was a very cute girl first-timing there in his place, being shown the ropes by his sister. And of course I just HAD to flirt with her (in a limited fashion as she barely knows english, apparently) when ordering my wonton dumplings. It's not my fault that she's so damned cute.

- I have just $10 until tomorrow when I get paid, but because of my natural high I don't feel broke. In fact, I'm more happier now than sometimes when I have a lot of money. It's like I don't need anything else than what I have right now and I wish I could just press a pause button to keep this feeling for at least half the year!

I wish I could pinch hit today as the "special guest executioner" to help out a friend.

A drive that should take me about two hours round trip is probably going to seem like it lasts forever.
