2. A fellow Pixie gave me a wonderful Christmas present recently, and I continue to be complimented because of his kindness.

3. Tomorrow night, Santa is making an early stop (again) this year, as I'll be the only one home on Christmas. :)

* Body feels absolutely awful but the mind is good and strong. Guess the damn body will just have to be dragged along for the ride whether it likes it or not. There are things I want to get started today.

1. Santa Claus comes tonight--and most of my holiday stress is over afterwards. Woohoo me.

1. I got some new catnip toys for the cat, so he'll be entertained while left alone for the holidays - secretly, I'm hoping this little trick will keep my tree standing while I'm away.

2. I'm not at all looking forward to the holiday travels. I greatly dislike holiday stress.

3. I have a lot to do this week, and didn't set myself up well by getting everything done this weekend either.

I'm done with my finals and I have nothing hanging over my head...except packing for my trip to Israel

I get to deliver a gift to a business associate...he just became a new dad and I bought him a present! :D

I'm really, really starting to get excited about my trip that starts tomorrow afternoon.

I've crunched my way through a good sized bag of hard candy.

- I'm still feeling a bit weak from the one-two punch of holiday parties from last Friday and Saturday night

- I went over about $200 on my budget trying to take advantage of seasonal discounts and general partying with other people...now I have to go frugal like a monk for a bit to catch up...hate it but things could be worse

- There is nothing more I want today than to leave work, go back home, crawl into bed and enjoy a good (dirty) book whilst listening to music until I fall asleep. The only thing I would want more than this is to find a money sack of unmarked bills or to have a naked Diora Baird waiting for me when I get home, but neither of those are likely to happen (albeit not impossible) so I will settle for the completely logical former.

1. Had today off so I went and did a little gift shopping. I did really well not buying kiddo any more stocking stuffers. :D

I bought the exact same personalized Christmas tree ornament for Lake's nephew as Lake had bought yesterday without telling me.

I wanted to work on a paper this afternoon but I ended up wrapping gifts instead.

I made an appointment to get Vinci neutered tomorrow.

I finished my Christmas shopping and Christmas cards

I watched the season finale of Survivor and was so happy with the outcome!

I received my final grades from my first quarter of college and have a GPA of 4.00 :D

i drove around town in our new-to-us minivan today. way cool but dang! that thing is big.

my boy has the shits. 20+ diapers today and his little bum is all bloody and sore. every time I wipe it, he screams 'cause it hurts so bad, which has brought me to tears a few times (i really do not like causing him pain...no really, I don’t :D) but it's better than a staph infection. :p

i found it’s not so easy to explain the christian god and my beliefs about religion to a 5 year old who now gets all kinds of info from school-mates. i hope i didn't do any permanent damage :D

1. I had the best voicemail message this morning from a guy I hadn't seen in forever, telling me how wonderful the kids and I looked in our Christmas card photo.

2. I spent my entire lunch hour hunting down two Nintendo DS Lites for my sweetie's sons. Fortunately, persistence pays off. :)

3. I was shocked to find I won a chance on Amazon.com to purchase a Nintendo Wii system. Since we've already had our Christmas, that puppy's going to ebay. ;)

I am soooooo happy because my courses only start again the 9th of January, which means I can afford to take the plane back to school!!!!!! I wasn't really looking forward to being on the train for 20+ hours :eek:

I'm finding it hard to get motivated to do my papers now that I am at home.

My poor Vinci is still recovering from the drugs he got during surgery. I hope he is more spry later!

* Finally heard back from my doctor on the biopsy results from my test of last Tuesday. More damn prescriptions to take. Could've been worse though.

* Got Christmas card from best friend's sister with a bunch of pics of their two little girls. They are soooooo damn cute!

* Put 12.4 gal. of fuel in the car. The owner's manual says it holds 12 gal. Was sort of sweating it out on my drive back home.


4th thing: Hoping Vinci lets the meds keep him down most of the day. Poor guy, mommy comes home for break and BAM!!! There go the jewels. :(

- I had a disturbing dream last night involving the editor-in-chief of my company sitting me down and telling me my pay was going to be docked down because I was having too much fun. Usually dreams involving people I shouldn't be dreaming about like this are mystic harbingers of doom, but when I got to work today nothing was off kilter. Hmmm...

- Picked up some good erotic comics & the second volume of an erotic graphic novel at the comic sto' before work today (Wed. is new arrivals day) and I can't wait to git home and read them...I need some creative inspiration...

- I'm fighting off a cold that tried to infiltrate me last night and I'm winning. It's going to be steak and O.J. tonight.

1. I am also fighting a cold, which is not surprising--I'm sick EVERY Christmas.

2. I put my children on a plane tonight, and as awful and keyed up as they were in the airport, I miss the little buggers already.

3. I have an invite to Christmas dinner.

3. I need to go wrap presents before my guys get home.

I have to return the gift I bought for Lake yesterday. He wanted a battery charger for AAA batteries, but I just looked at the charger he has for AA batteries and it charges both AA batteries and AAA batteries!!!

I am going to see my great-grandmother this morning with my family.

I still have to figure out what to buy for Lake's parents for Christmas!!!!!! :eek:

1. I am earring shopping online today because I have a brand new short hair cut (for the first time not because I donated but because I just wanted one).

2. I'm off work so of course I have the plague.

3. It's raining and I think I will bake instead of shopping.

I probably knew it for awhile now, but I really like Staind.

Staind.com plays their songs nonstop...including them covering other bands.

I feel really good.

1. I had a glorious, relaxing, stress-free afternoon...the first I've had in as long as I can remember.

2. I know I am spoiled, but I don't care.

3. I have 2305982309582035 errands to run tomorrow, and I can't figure if I want to get up before the crack of dawn or wait until late night to do them in order to avoid those nuts still Christmas shopping.
