My noon news started with the weather man saying, "It's here and we're talkign feet, not inches." :yikes:

Was chilly here all day and I was cold at work.

The temperature is just 1 C, but it's supposed to go down to -3 or 4 in the next 24 hours... Oh, and we're getting 25-35 cm of snow in the next 24 hours too! :D:D:D

Just after 6pm here, the chilly drizzle turned to sleet/snow pellets, then to blanketing snow...the ground was covered in less than an hour (& that was with warmer ground temps )

13F right now under fair skies. Feels like 3F according to the weather channel. :(

It's only down to 21F (-5C) but we did get the first foot (30cm) of snow as promised and it's still coming, ......... as promised. The drifting (so I hear) is the real problem that makes useless to shovel or plow anything. I plan on taking a look ............ Monday. :rofl: There shouldn't be any problem as long as it stays cold and the snow doesn't start getting heavy. This is not a weekend I want to lose power.
(What would I check with my multimeter? :shrug: )

Well I don't know how much fell so far (hard to tell it apart from the couple of feet that were already on the ground, lol) but it snowed all night and we are still supposed to get another 25-35 cm by tomorrow morning!!! :D:D:D

I'm going to go for a walk soon... I hope the huge puddles of melted slush at the corners of the streets have frozen at least, so I don't get my feet wet! (Damn blocked drains!)

Awoke this a.m. to 3-4 inches of nice fluffy snow.

And news reports of 100+ traffic incidents on Metro streets & hwys...

Its 33 with wind chill of 24, was suppose to hit 40 but that is not gonna happen wth this chilly wind.

41F with some dense morning fog in the area. Only suppose to go up to 44F today with some rain (there's a flood watch in effect). :(
