T if you count the ones that typically wear them. :D
T or F: You're concerned about the government's plans for your IRA's and bank accounts. |
False, in the grand scheme of things, it's truly a minor thing.
T or F: You meditate daily. |
T ... including prayers ... usually for peace or happiness.
T or F: Your car is acting up. |
False, I have no car.
T or F: You consider the re-opening of society in the fase of the ongoing pandemic to be premature and badly managed. |
define "re-opening"
|
T or F:
You collect fine china. |
False
T pr F: You have a snowblower? |
False
T or F: You have no idea of how to conduct deep-sea fishing. |
True.
I only fish in the largest amount of fresh water in the world. I can eat most everything I catch and nothing in there can eat me, and I can DRINK it. :D T or F? You too have things in your woods or forest that CAN eat you. |
True. Bears; a very few mountain (?) lions; vultures (only after you've already met your demise) and maybe a few others.
T or F: You enjoy political cartoons thinking they sometimes report things better than the news outlets. |
So very true.
T or F: You regularly encounter deer in your neighborhood. |
True it is. It would be funny if it wasn't so true.
T or F? Our politics have past funny and become disgusting. |
True
T or F: You are concerned that the Ukraine may be a harbinger of serious war. |
It's already serious. Trrue, if by seerious you mean wider.
T or F: In the case of intercontinental war, you worry because you live near a potential target. |
True, but maybe less so than those living near bigger cities (i.e. Chicago; St. Louis; or Indianapolis.
T or F: You own an electric powered vehicle. |
False, the only vehicle I own is a bicycle.
T or F: YOu still have icy/snow conditions in your neighborhood. |
Going away but still slippery in a few places. A little snow yesterday evening didn't help (but at least it wasn't too bad.
|
True. Not only 'still' but more on top of it. ;)
T or F? Is March coming in as a Lion or Lamb in your neighborhood? |
Next couple of days look like the lamb is winning. Hope it continues. :wish:
|
T or F:
you expect weather tomorrow. |
No. I'm not having any more weather for a week. :wobbly:
T or F? You try to keep evry clock in your house within 30 seconds of true time? |
True, but of course, it usually fails.
T or F: You have media holding outdated computer software in your house. |
OH NO! That could be the horrible truth. :faint:
... If I knew what "media holding outdated computer software" is? T or F? You are nieve enough to have hung your snow shovel on the top hook in the beginning of March. |
F - as a matter of fact my two snow shovels are leaning against the house ... on near the front door and one near the garage.
T or F You think the snow may be done for the year. |
True for my local area, although we do occasionally get something in early/mid-March.
T or F: You are uninterested in college basketball playoffs. |
T ... not a high priority
T or F: You don't believe our government is doing enough to help Ukraine |
False. Short of war, there's not a whole lot more that our gov't can do. And going to war is an incredibly bad idea.
T or F: You usually get a lot of fog in your area this time of year. |
True quite often.
T or F? You have ALWAYS carried a small pocket knife of some sort or the other. |
T? Most of the time but sometimes not.
|
T or F:
You know what a Churchkey is. |
True ... a bottle and can opener.
T or F: The cost of replacement batteries makes electric vehicles less desirable. |
True. ... As much as we need a change, that one is going to be hard to make happen. :tear:
T or F? Is there enough 'nonpolluting' electric generation to make the electric auto 'recharging', to not just move the problem away from the vehicle and driver but to cause MUCH more demand on the power stations that are already an over loaded system. |
F ... there is not enough non-polluting electric generation. Chances are the recharging would cause more coal burning to generate the electricity needed. Not to mention when the batteries eventually die (about 10 years), the cost to replace them is horrendous.
T or F: You've already had a taste of warmer Spring like weather? |
Well, certainly true, if you count today.
|
True on the Spring-like weather. Even today, starting how wind and chilly but turning out pretty nice with temps reaching into the low 50s and now around 45F. Expected worse so this is welcome.
T/F: You think the US should suspend/cancel all oil shipments from Russia as the sales are helping Putin to finance the attack on a free and sovereign nation. |
Fence sitter on this one.
True, the payments to Russia do go to their general fund, and their largest current expense is the prosecution of the illegal war in Ukraine. But in truth, the oil imports from Russia are such a tiny amount of what the US imports-the majority of what it imports is from Canada-that adding this sanction on top of the others is unlikely to have much, if any, effect. T or F: You prefer having complicated, uncertain-of-your-role sex to having complicated, uncertain-of-nuance discussions of international politics. |
The imports from Russia so far have cost the US about 1 BILLION dollars. And it was all unnecessary as we have reserves of oil that are expected to last 400 years or so and natural gas that is expected to last even longer. I would have rather seen that $1 billion go to the Ukraine.
T or F: Did you see reports that Ukrainian people killed are not being buried but burned where they lay? With luck maybe Putin will have a heart attack! :wish: |
False. I did not see such reports. I wouldn't be surprised if this were happening, even on a large scale, though.
T or F: You prefer organ meats to the more usual muscle meats available in Western society. |
F. I used to like liver but haven't had it for years A good steak, yep.
T or F: You're concerned that the Ukraine is a harbinger of WW3? |
True, could easily be.
T or F: Your local area is getting some much-needed rain. |
