Shaddup PF!

1. I took the day off.....and spent it doing various and sundry things I hadn't planned to do. I got in an abbreviated workout (abbreviated because I am not feeling well), went shopping for picnic goodies -- and promptly abandoned the picnic due to traffic. :( Vaccumed. Cooked. Booked plane tix. Worked. The usual -- but at least I got to do it from home.

2. I learned that I had the ability to duplicate the taste of the most miraculous baba ganoush I'd ever tasted. Damn, I'm a good cook. :D :p

3. I took a walk along the shore with Mr. Osuche today.....damn San Francisco is pretty. :)

1. I've re-discovered things as well as parts of my past I'd totally forgotten about, and it was nice, although some was bittersweet.

2. I can't tell you how many trips to the dumpster I've made. :D

3. I love a man who makes me giggle...and who giggles at my jokes, too.

1. My allergies are killing me and I can't wait to have an address so I can see a local allergist without it costing me a small fortune.

2. I'm seriously contemplating hard surfaced flooring rather than carpet in the condo, but price might sway me to the latter.

3. I feel a new level of stress building knowing all that I have to accomplish in the next 2-3 weeks.

3) Well the best is I have gotten many compliments on me looseing weight. 23pds so far.

1. I know of at least one person at my new work with whom I'm destined to become friends. I introduced myself to her this morning, and she simply put her hands on her hips, looked at me, and said, "So???" LMFAO.

2. I suspect my new employer thinks I'm competent enough.

3. I called as many people as I could on the way home to share my first day with them...mostly because this isn't home yet and I'm missing them.

1) I'm so happy IAKG that her first day seemed to go okay. We were thinking of her. :thumb:
2) I'm glad we went to see "The March of the Penguins" ... it was delightful.
3) I gave my "4-week" notice where I work.

1. Spent my day off checking work email, running errands, shopping, and at the gym. Why doesn't vacation feel like....vacation?

2. I need to start working on my very first week of homework tonight

3. Tomorrow I leave for 2 days in LA, and I am not looking forward to being back on an airplane.

1) Wasn't in the office 2 minutes this morning when the first "problem" of the day hit me...ugh! :mad:

2) Ate lunch outside with some co-workers...a nice sunny summer day! :sun:

3) Missing my brother...he lives on the other side of the country.

1. My job is more laid-back than I anticipated, which is something I'm *not* used to--I guess maybe I *do* work better under stress. :D

2. There are no boxes left in my kitchen--one room down! :wobble:

3. I was wet most of the day, thinking about what lay in store for me tonight. ;)

1. I was finally busy at work. :)

2. I was invited to dinner/drinks with the girls at work (and former girls from work) tomorrow night. This was after being invited to lunch today.

3. I just spent *the* most enjoyable five hours with amazing, awesome women. They're part of a chartering chorus of the Sweet Adeline organization, a show chorus, and they're excited that I might join them. They sing jazz, blues, show tunes--just a whole variety, in four-part womens' acapella harmony. Afterwards, we went out for drinks/friendship stuff...sat in the restaurant and talked and SANG and everything. :D

1) It's finally Friday free again got my motor running for a wild weekend (yes I sing that to my class :D)

2) TGIF!!!!

3) Friday blessed Friday coming at the end of a week that has seemed to be 10 days long.

1) Caught up on much needed sleep last night

2) YAAAAAAA.... it's FRIDAY!

3) Got 3 fun weekends coming up!

1. I was offered two jobs yesterday.
2. I got a call for another job interview today (and it's one of the jobs I'm actually interested in).
3. My insurance money finally came.

(Yes, I'm a pessimist and am waiting for the bad stuff to come :yikes: )

1. I got my first observation today and it was awesome.

2. I am officially the new invisible cat tamer.

3. My feet hurt sooooo unbelievably bad, I need a foot slave.

1. I had dinner and drinks with the girls tonight, and I had a *blast.*

2. I'm not sure I can keep up the party girl schedule. :D

3. I have the makings of a best friend here already, even though I've only known her about 30 hours.

1) Made banana pancakes and bacon for the family this morning.

2) Played a terrific round of golf, relative to my handicap.

3) Baked a batch of cinnamon & raisin scones. :slurp:

1. I had my first day of classes at Berkeley -- and found to my delight I had two female professors. :) Don't get many of them in Engineering school. :p

2. I think I made some new friends in school....I just wish I wasn't so damn abysmal with names.

3. I think Mr. Osuche is going to kill me....he's peppy and ready to do something fun and all I want to do is be a slug. :p

1. I know that progress was made today, but *damn* if I can see it. :D

2. I need another 5-6 hours in the day in order to get everything done.

3. I'll make a phone call tomorrow, but I think I'm going to be too much of a homebody to go out like I said I might.

1. For the first time in at least two months, I slept for more than six hours last night..and didn't get my butt out of bed until nearly noon. :D

2. I got a couple of surprise phone calls today from important-to-me people, but they were pleasant surprises. :)

3. In going through boxes last night, I was reminded of something that had been totally wiped from my memory...but it was a *very* good memory to be reintroduced.

1. I had the best morning possible...except that it ended when we both had to go to work. :(

2. I've been a slacker tonight compared to most nights recently. :D

3. I am very, very positive about the future.

1. I detest parents who think the school day ends when they decide to come pick their kids up.

2. I don't care for parents who show up 15 minutes into a 25 minute lunch period and don't understand why we had their little darlin get school lunch just in case.

3. I wish I had parents who understood that sometimes when they refuse to allow their babies to be retained, they may be creating self esteem problems that are awfully difficult to live with, much less learn with.

1. I got my first paycheck today...I feel so official now at work. :)

2. I went out at lunch, expecting a terrible, terrible wait at the DMV...and walked right in to get my NH license. I feel so *permanent* now...another "Iowa" reminder gone. :)

3. I learned this afternoon that the office manager thought they'd agreed to pay me $1,000 *more* than the offer they'd made me...so that's what she's paying me. I basically got a $1K raise after working there ten days. :grin:

-did an acoustic set with the boys at the campus radio station..got good reviews from the call-in listeners...

-getting ready for a gig tonite...

-trying to figure out how to post audio on this damned site, it says it's too big, so i'm trying to figure out how to cut it down...anybody wanna help?
