What's worse 3/4" of ice or 18 " of snow.....after just clearing my driveway ....That ice kick my A@@... might have been worse than that blizzard we had a couple years back... At least then I could blow and plow

There was some thunder a few minutes ago, but that appears to have moved on past now. Right now it's 38F under mostly cloudy skies. The weather map looks like some more rain is nearing us, but it should all clear off later this morning and turning sunny with a high in the upper 50's.

Was a nice sunny spring day. I went into the library for 15 mins and came out to a sky-ful of snow. It lasted for about 10 mins and then went away again. Oh how I love March...

Pretty nice afternoon here today. It's 52F right now and very sunny. A bit breezy but nothing too terrible.

We hit 48F with sun and a bit of wind. Came out nice considering it was almost sleeting this AM.

It WAS sleeting all day :mad:, ....JUST above freezing with falling slush!

I would rather give up the few degrees and have snow than this. :banghead:

We may be fixing up central Illinois to be an alternative mudwrestling site. It's 64F :yikes: with a thunderstorm. Just south of us they're saying there's a chance of 60 mph winds and hail that could reach baseball size :yikes: !!! Almost feels more like summer than spring. Looks like rain will persist in the area for most of the next week.

DB we got a big thunderstorm right now. Its 63 with lots of rain and wind. Abner is hiding under the couch. Had a good storm last night too.

Poor Abner. :(


Absolutely gorgeous morning here today. It's about 42F and sunny right now and is supposed to be in the mid-50's for a high. More rain for us scheduled for tomorrow though.

After some morning showers, it was a beautiful day. Now, though, I here thunder rumbling closer and expect the rain to start soon. :(

It's gloomy and just sort of blah here right now. Mid-40's temp. It rained most of the night so everything is nice and soggy. :(

Great day to be someplace else. I'm thinking sunny California! :p
