That's been several years ago now (10+). Last were some scale models of ships involved in the Battle of Jutland. Mainly painting and minor assembly (Battle Cruisers or Battleships mainly) turrets.

Starter? Never. but I did have to replace the alternator in the Corolla in Leeds Alabama a few years ago.


When was the last time you had work done on your roof?

This past summer when they repaired the roof after a hail storm. I think more than a thousand homes or businesses had roof repairs done after that storm. :(

When was the last time you got new neighbors?

Probably been about 2-years ago now. They moved in about 3-doors to the east of us and across the street. Nice young couple.

I felt like it yesterday when I mowed the back yard and ran several errands for my wife.

Oh wait, you mean like overtime at a regular job. Since I retired in 2001 I'd say about 17 years.

About a month or so ago. It was a day cruise celebrating the Spirit of Peoria's anniversary. Great prime rib dinner with lots of other great dishes to go with it including bread pudding which I love. :D

Never. Driven from Minnesota to Texas; Illinois to Maryland and Virginia; and west from Illinois to Kansas and Iowa … but never from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Flown coast to coast but never drove. Driven to Canada a couple of times … Toronto, Niagara Falls; Thunder Bay; Wawa (Ont). But, again, no coast to coast.
