Thinking some people really just do not have a clue about the real world!

Finally finished up watching the season finales for my two favorite TV shows: Bones and Grey's Anatomy.

Got a feeling this is going to be an early night for me.

Just doing a bit of snooping around at what all kinds of things I may accomplish while I'm out in California. Of course, I really didn't make it past the thought of food so now I'm absolutely starving. :p

Getting ready to head out to Cincinnati to spend the evening with friends who had a baby a few months ago - I haven't seen them in 2 years!

looking at the mess I need to clean up in the computer room.

On of the guys is outside hanging the shutters on the final two windows and the other one is inside doing a bit of mudding on the new drywall around one of the new windows.

And I'm thinking ahead to a baseball game tonight and how badly I want the kids to win another one. They haven't won a game on their home diamond in two years. Seems like this would be a great night to do it. :p

Sitting here drinking my cup-O-coffee wishing my yard were mowed, but mostly just glad to have the day off.

I'm waiting to hear whether or not our ballgame has been rained out. Hopefully not. :wish:

Watching the pre-race coverage of the Indy 500 and wondering why the hell it is that they want to focus more on how hot the three ladies are who are driving in the race than the fact that they will be out there going over 200 mph in a glorified go-cart.

Those ladies have more guts and talent than I'd ever hope to have.

Sitting on the couch with my feet up for a bet before I put on the Heels from Hell

Making sure my list of things to take with me on my upcoming roadtrip is complete.

Caught a nap after kiddo left for the bus to make up the last 2 hours of sleep I missed this AM due to the 4 legged furball.

The interior trim is going on the window about two feet from me as I type. The contractor just said to me, "Looks like you'll be getting your house back pretty soon." :D

I'm listening to some music and looking through a college football magazine I bought today. Looks like it's going to be the same old thing this fall, USC picked to win it all and Michigan & Ohio State fighting it out for the Big Ten title. :(

Oh well, at least there's pics of cheerleaders here for me to look at. :p

Had a movie from Netflix (Pan's Labyrinth) waiting for me at the post office when I got home so I may just go relax and watch it here in a bit.
