1. I've had what appears to be the stomache flu and I've been miserable...tired, achy, and sick to my stomache.

2. I colored my hair yesterday and took some pictures. ;) I have natural reds in my hair but I've always been disappointed that it wasn't naturally a deep auburn

3. I am hopelessly behind in my work and school stuff, but I plan on taking another day to rest. I'm not sure I have enough lead left in my pencil to be useful to anyone

I hear ya, osuche. I took the lead outta my pencil 6 years ago and it's still haunting me. :rolleyes:

2) I have a two-hour mandatory conference call scheduled instead of lunch. :bang:

2. I got a wonderful email from a friend who's expecting and due very soon...I gave her some things this week I'd bought when pregnant two years ago before miscarrying. She told me how much she'd appreciated them...I told her how much I appreciated finally being able to let them go.

2. Gave a big project to the new ladies in the office and it felt wonderful to get it off my back.

1. Mr. Osuche comes home this afternoon and I am PSYCHED

2. I am cooking dinner for more than 20 people now ~ Mr. Osuche's aunts, uncles, and cousins have decided to come

3. Suddenly I am feeling very mellow....I think a little holiday relaxation is in order!

1. I am trying to thaw my turkey out some...they take so damn long.

2. I have some appetizers started and the cranberry sauce is made.

3. My oldest is helping me by changing sheets and making beds....I'm suspicious :p I think he was abducted and has had some sort of cooperation chip installed.

1. I spent all morning cooking, then went to my Mother In Law's for the afternoon

2. At my MILs, I was presented with my wedding sari, several others, and all the traditioal wedding jewelery. They begged me to try one of the saris on, which initiated a 45 minute primping session as they perfected my hair, makeup, and outfit....I had 4 female family members fluttering around me telling me how beautiful I looked....and when I came out to show the rest of the 20+ person clan everyone clapped. ;) Mr. Osuche said I took his breath away. And I must admit,the pics are very nice.

3. The same 20+ people, plus a few more from my family, and my Sister-in-Law's S/O came to dinner at my place. Everything went off well without a hitch...food was good...company was better. We all had fun. And...strangely enough...'cause 80% of the people were the same...it felt like a totally different party.

Today was a good day....and I can leave Columbus happy. I love ALL my family...married and blood.

1. I'm bummed about having to work today, but at least it's only 12-5. I'm even less excited about having to work Sunday 11-7:30.

2. I'm feeling about 20 lbs. heavier after yesterday...and I didn't eat very much!

1. I lounged about with my cat just staring at the Christmas Trees.
2. Got a huge wave of energy at about 10:30p and did a very fast and furious cleaning.
3. I'm doing my best to relax and take some valuable 'me' time.

1) Enjoying my second week away from work...drank my coffee in PEACE this morning.

2) Took my wife to lunch at our fav Vietnamese Restaurant. :slurp:

3) Lost 7 of 8 "races" to my little boy (5) on our Playstation 2 car racing game....and I tried to win! :p

This past weekend I learned that...

1- I love him enough to watch football with him.

2- He loves me enough to watch American Idol with me.

3- I think I might believe in something I never believed in before.

1. I may have been wrong about something, but will know tonight for sure.

2. I *am* obsessing about things over which I have no control, which is illogical at best and frustrating as well.

3. I tend to procrastinate more than I ever thought I did.

1. The trip has gotten my a temporary stay of execution....and a heck of a lot more work to do.
2. I am exhausted and I don't want to go to dinner tonight...I want to sleep. :)
3. I think I feel a cold coming on.....and I really don't want to go to the gym either

My back is very sore
My drive to work was too long due to people who forget how to drive in snow
After the gym, I still had to shovel my driveway

2. Discussed plans with my sister about this weekend
3. Tried convincing someone how great they are.

I'm missing someone very much!!

Took my daughter to the movies after school

1. I discovered that everyone at the IRS is not stodgy or mean. :)

2. I had the office to myself all morning--and THAT was nice.

3. I figure my lack of sleep will catch up with me sometime.

1. I have a non-substance-induced euphoria.

2. I'm happier than I have any right to be, and it just keeps getting better.

3. It's almost 11:00 and I've not yet fucked up my diet today :)

3. I am desperatly hoping to get back to CMH tonight, and I've already scrapped plans for a 6 pm meeting. :( (but if I am lucky I may get back before 9 and get some time at the gym)

My sister basically called me in desperation last night, begging me to come to Kentucky one weekend and organize her finances for both her taxes and her sanity, help her establish a budget, track where her money is being sent, so on and so forth. I was surprised, touched, and honored that she trusts me enough to delve and sort though her finances, thinks I'm competent to do so, and wants my help.

2. I slept really well last night.

3. My kids are growing up so fast.

1. Snow is pretty, but the cold air sucks.
2. It's nice hearing peeps say how great your kids are.
3. Glad it's not to busy here at work today.

1) I am sitting for the state exam to be a Special ed teacher today. It's my life long dream and I'm soooo afraid that I've come this far and am some how going to fuck it all up.

1. Woke up this morning to an ice storm -- made a semi-sleeping decision that it wsa too bad to go judge First City (was thinking they'd canceled it) -- woke up 2 hours later to learn it was going on.....and I'd missed my judging slot. Sometimes I disappoint myself.

2. Today will be spent working and job looking.....no more procrastination

3. I don't intend to leave the house today...too much snow and ice to drive easily...so I will be seeking a way to get a home workout in. :)
