I touched a sting ray today and got to hold lots of star fishes. It was a great experience for my chick-a-dees.

I am trying to be a good mentor for a couple new teachers at work but am finding helping one very time consuming and I feel as if she is getting more and more discouraged about all that she does not know yet or understand. I don't think she had any idea how intensely complex the job is.

I keep having experiences where I am exposed to people who are very very full of themselves and delusional about their self-importance.

Sorry... I've been trying to work on that...

1) 90 minutes of planning with Mrs. R for our home renovation next year. My brain hurts, in a good way.

2) Need to dig out the snow so I can put the outside XMAS decorations up. Yeah, I'm late.

3) My daughter's best friend (14) has been dating a guy for 3 months and her dad (single parent) hasn't met the guy yet. I'm horrified...and yes, old fashioned.

1. Me and YouTube are on intimate terms *LOL* Been there nearly 2 days straight!

2 Facebook has also been getting a hiding

3. So many things i can now go to and see and only 1 pair of eyes *LOL*

You just need to set up multiple monitors and have four screens up on each one.

I still only have 1 set of eyes *LOL*

My work is going to pay for me to go to this awesome conference which will give me a new outlook on my job and access to some great information.

I am taking the day off tomorrow to shop and just get things done. Unheard of but what I really need.

I'm more Lilith than I was ever aware of and it does not bode well.

2. I'm teaching myself Office 2010 and today began my facinating study into the world of databases. :fix:

3. I had the best time looking out my window as our favorite red cardinal bravely defended HIS bird-feeder against a swarm of little birdies taking a rest in HIS tree. It was great! :D

1. Going to get an oil change on our Mitsubishi this morning at 7:30AM
2. Heart Dr. appointment at 10:00 in Peoria
3. Some shopping to do before I come back home

Busy day.

1 Dropped in to see if my new fishtank was ready. Maker not there, will try again tomorrow

2 We have had doosie storms going through most of the day, the last one was a beaut complete with hail

3 We picked up the family Xmas pressie tonight

My wallet threw up it's entire contents at Costco again.

My inlaws are coming tomorrow.

I have a hot date tonight in which I will get to wear that cute smaller sized dress I bought, to go see Christmas My Way- a Sinatra style holiday sing along complete with a martini bar.

I am soooooooooo over the rain!

I have to drop into town today, and people drive bad enough at the best of time, gawd with the rain there will be a towtruck on every corner! For good reason too!!

1. Got the lights put up in the middle of my xmas tree....(it's a pre-lit tree and when I bought it last year only the top and bottom lights lit.....my kids said it was just the kind of tree they'd expect ME to have...HaHaHa.....

2. Wrapped some actual presents and put them under the tree.

3. Went to to the bank and took care of 4 Xmas presents......the kids want cash, what can I say.........

Missing my man.....only just saw him Thurs night, but won't see him this week, he's going upstate to celebrate Winter Solstice.....hopefully I'll see him over the break.... :(

That much rain dropping it is blocking the pipes and causing back air pressure through the house's sinks...fucking thing.

Just been out in said rain digging a drain for the water to drain out and down to the council drainage

It is raining quicker than the yard can drain *LOL*
