G'day everyone. Special day for us today. The Spirit of Peoria (River cruise boat that we've mentioned before) celebrates her 30th birthday today and we've been invited to be aboard this evening for a dinner cruise. Should be a lot of fun and their dinner's are always terrific (everything is cooked on board in their galley). If you ever happen to be in Peoria from March through October ... this is a great way to spend part of a day of several days if you want to take a more distant cruise). We sure won last night with the dinner aboard the Spirit of Peoria. Prime Rib (done to perfection); potatoes, green beans, wonderful fresh green salad with onions and cucumbers, home made rolls, and two kinds of bread pudding (a real specialty of the cook on board). Had a wonderful Dixieland band to serenade us; a chance to visit with all three Captains including our grandson; a wonderful smooth 2-hour cruise; and complimenting the cruise ... gorgeous weather. We're planning on a July mystery cruise near my birthday; and, potentially another crusie a little later to Starved Rock State Park (either the two-day or a three-day version). :thumbs:

Wish you could all join us. That would be a ball!
