Last night my cousin and I saw several people pulled over because of stupidity in the rain.

I'm still tired even though I've slept for quite awhile.

Lucky got a reprieve today, regular vet wasn't in the office today, but the other doc told us to try 1/2 of an Immodium pill, & feed him baby food to keep his diet bland. So far so good. (& a hearty :thanks: to those Pixies who cared enough to PM me in my dark hour :nod: )

Back still hurt like hell this am, but I got a back brace w/a pouch for an ice pack...wearing that seems to help.

I hope my back recuperates enough to go jam a little with my guitar player tomorrow :rockon:

1) I woke up early, but then stayed in bed while my wife rubbed my back.
2) I've had my morning medicines.
3) I think I'm getting a bit hungry (surprising after the big supper last night)

I seriously pissed off Mother-in-law last night by siding with Wilderness. (Her parents are Baptist and have very strict morals and therefore we are not allowed to tell them we are living together. Since everything we are doing at the moment is together - eating, fixing the apartment, getting a cat, fixing my bikes, etc etc etc - there is no topic we can speak of!!!! And now we're being asked to lie about their other daughter coming three days earlier than they know - which is not meant as a surprise, it's meant to be hidden from them completely. It's all lies!!! It drives me batty!!! These people aren't going to be around forever, I wish they could know how happily in love their grandson is but nooooooooo. :mad: )

The bike I bought for $5 at a yard sale a few weeks ago turned out to be a treasure!!! No repairs needed, the tires hold air and everything! I've got the chrome all shined up now and it's soooooooo pretty. It's a 70s Free Spirit single-speed. I made my first trip on it last night and it's geared great, even going up hills the single-speed doesn't hinder me! w00t!!!

I drove a 100 miles (round trip) yesterday to buy a cell phone... and then gave it away.

I did a lot in the way of chores today.

I still have to wax my motorcycle.

I'm watching the old X-men cartoon from the 90's right now.

I think I may need to turn off the swamp cooler and put on some socks.

I'm having someone else clean my house tomorrow, and I couldn't be more excited.

Clearly, I need to get out more.
