I spent most of the day just resting.

My back is still fubar.

I had leftover cheesecake for dessert tonight while watching The Sopranos.

I took a three hour nap

I am sniffly and sneezy and grumpy today - all rolled into one

I really don't want to fix dinner

got pedicure & polish (sparkling lavender),
discovered new sniff post & marker,
finally chewed thru bone to marrow

I spent the day hanging out with 2 close friends from Ohio and their 11 month old

I had wonderful dim sum for lunch

I felt sorry for myself this evening

Sent my husband shopping with a list (first time in a very long time)
Skipped out on a work mixer...best idea ever.
I am starting my taxes tonight if it kills me.

I was feeling melancholy over a few things since last night. Then I got into some erotica and the melancholia disappeared. I'm glad I came home instead of going out like I used to do.

It's hard getting into my creative rhythm for some reason. I have chores to do and yet I want and need to just sit down at my table and blank everything else in the world out just to do my own thing.

I wanna go see Watchmen tonight.

I have been torturing babies who can barely read at the 3rd grade level with how to make tables, use that data to make double bar graphs then use the info from the graph to predict future data based on the trend. Gotta love NCLB and state testing.

It was fun to get out last night for a change, but I'm definitely not making it a habit like I used to. My nature is still too weak to resist the hedonistic tractor-beam pull of my vices and temptations.

It's strange and funny to run into a person you slept with over ten years ago, but not remember their face because they look completely different than what you remember. And this is a person who had her period in my bed directly after said fuck, too.* :yikes:

I just found out that a co-worker of mine died of cancer a few days ago. He was a good guy and it's just bewildering because I just saw dude a few weeks ago and I had no idea he was suffering from anything. Funny how you find out so much about a person after they pass away. He had a pilot's license and was a ranked tennis player. It's making me re-assess myself and my priorities.

I spent the entire day with my sweetie, which was wonderful as always. :)

We had lunch at a new restaurant that we will definitely go to again.

I bought a new purse, which cost more than any other purse I've ever bought, with my very own credit card. And then he made me use the new card for boring gas in the car. :D

Today is garage sale day.

My life is too busy. I have to find a way to find some me time.

I finally got around to getting new glasses.

I spend most of the day with my boyfriend without arguing.
