- Managed to get my old horse iBook coughing again, by pluck or luck or both. Unfortunately my LaCie isn't compatible with the system so I have to transfer all my old data by USB flash keyfob. And I've got a lot of porn to transfer!

- I've still got a ton of shit to do just getting crap straight on my computer, not to mention getting some art out and general cleaning up of the joint, but I'm definitely going out tonight for a drink.

I started yoga today.

I finished the tile demolition and sheetrock repair in the bathroom.

Looking forward to a 3-day weekend.

Today I'm going to be helping with the surveying of the site - we are installing a couple new east-west lines so we can get some pits further out in the field than last year.

I'm also going to be helping to clean up the pits from last year - we had plastic sheets in the bottom of them but a ton of stuff grew under there, and the walls of the pits have collapsed, and they're basically one huge mess.

I hope it's as nice and warm as yesterday!!!!!!!!! :D

Thanks sweetie. I have been blonde before, and it is odd how different I am treated by people.

By the way, I only have BOTTOM tan lines, and that is being fixed every other day at the beach.

No tan lines above the waist. None. At. All.

I am very proud of that.

My oldest brother drowned on July 4 1987 at the age of 29. I personally found his body 5 days later at 5pm. Every year since at 5pm I drink a toast to my brother at 5pm.

I am a very very positive person and I adopted a John Lennon line at that moment that helped life make more sense. "Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans!"

Through my brothers death I learned to LIVE life....not just exist in it. I wish the same sentence upon every single person that reads this! LIVING LARGE here!! :)

bh4229- I really appreciate your openess about what happened and how you have reacted to what could be a very negative moment and made it into a lesson on living and love.

I made it through yesterday with only a few tears when my 17 year old was being silly and put his belt around his neck. I freaked out on him and then explained to him that I had been holding my finger in the dike wall all day.

Old friends are coming over and I have got to get my ass in gear cleaning.

1) Need to mow the @#%#* yard today... :mad:

3) Had some very nice early AM sex...she had to stuff her face in a pillow to keep from being heard. :p

Almost thought I lost my July 4th tribute art when Photoshop & Illustrator got hung up JUST when I was saving stuff. But Time Machine's recovery saved everything. Damn, I love my new Mac!

If it doesn't rain cats and dogs tonight, I'll go out. If it rains too heavy, I can stay in and go drink another day. It's a pretty gloomy-looking July 4th here. Doesn't spoil my happy, though! :thumbs:
