Tennis or racquetball?

I love fall (autumn for the purists) for the colors ... but I've got to pick spring because of all the new flowers and blossums on trees and the knowledge that there's still several more months of reasonably good weather after it. Fall unfortunately has a cold following. :D

Spring - Nothing like throwing on a t-shirt after a long New England winter.

Since I don't drink coffee, I'll pick the lemonade/magnolia tree. Even planted one in my front yard this spring.

I like them both, but some of my very favorites, like lilacs, are perrenials.
