btw LS, don't know how old your niece is, but if she is of the age to read a Judy Blume book, you can't go wrong with one of them. My daughter loved them when she was a kid.

Actually, I've been getting her books geared towards the 8-12 range so that her mom can read a chapter a night. Once she's a little older she'll be able to enjoy them on her own.
