Hi, everyone. Foregive me if my typing is rough. Left arm has an incision running from the elbow to the wrist and has to be bandaged to catch the oozing ... ewww.

Also, there are air breathing tube locations in my upper chest and a long 6-8 inch incission where there breast bone (stenmum) was broken to give access to the heart.

Recovery will take 6-8 weeks overall, but should be steady improvements as I go. Just since yesterday, I've almost doubled my air intake from 1000 ml to 2000 ml. Guess I don't have to hold my breath now :)

About the second week od December I'll go back in to begin a 24-session cardio=rehab and some dietary classes.

Just wanted to once again tell all of you that I cannot ever express how much your love words meant to me. Of course it was hard explaining how opern heart surgery would give an erection. :)

Seriously, you are the best and I truly thank you! There are a few of my pixie firends that I know also need prayers. I can promise you, you have them from this ol' pixie guy.

Probably won't post long as I get ver tired. But it's good to see the keyboard again.

Oh! That explains it. Take care DB. Your wife better get ready! With all the extra oxygen your getting, you're gonna be a bear to keep up with. My mom commented that she couldn't keep up with my dad after his surgery. He had too much energy! Don't forget what the best aerobic exercise in the world is either:D Your gonna have to get some help with that physical therapy! :D

WOW!!! Thats great DB, I am so pleased that you are doing well, I was a tad worried and am really happy that youhave pulled through the surgery. keep increasing that lung volume buddy and allow yourself to recouperate.
