Worked 3 hours this AM.

Shopped about 3 hours this afternoon.

After shopping the child is still speaking to me. (Bonus)

1) I had to go into the office today unexpectedly.

2) My trip to San Fancisco has been postponed until the end of January.

3) Mr Hand and I had a nice time in shower this morning.

The Salvation Army store about a block away from me stopped taking donations because of lack of space. It was convenient for me because I planned on dropping off stuff I'm not taking in the move that can be used by other people instead of throwing it out. Now I gotta schlep them further out...grrrrr...

Work has been pleasantly slow today.

Trying to fight the feeling to go down to my spot for drinking tonight. I thought to do it tomorrow. I don't really need to drink tonight, but the holiday is making me itch for being social. And I'm not so gung-ho about cleaning up and packing again tonight even though I should.

~ Had a very nice and long conversation on the phone with my sister and nieces this morning. They had an absolutely wonderful Christmas. :)

~ I really wish I had decided to go out to California for Christmas to see my parents.

~ My neighbor sent her great grandson over a bit earlier to give me a bunch of cookies and candies. She even made up a batch of Grasshoppers and sent a glass over to me. I think Frieda is having a bit of the liquid holiday cheer this afternoon. :rofl:

Santa brought me sparkly stuff. Galadriel's ring and the Evenstar necklace. :)

Just finished watching Love Actually. I love that movie.

It's been a pretty good Christmas.

We're having one friend and a quiet dinner at home tonight

Everyone has exactly one gift to open - after all, it is Christmas

It's not so bad at work tonight. Skeleton staff, moderate flow of work and I'll be getting holiday pay...but it got REALLY pleasant when my coworker Tom brought in the Jameson's to mix in with the free sodas from the company X'mas workers' dinner spread in the conference room.

I brought in my unwanted two space heaters to work today to give to the features department downstairs as their section gets cold intermittenly during the day.

I am wavering on whether I should be responsible and go straight home to do more packing or go downtown to my spot where there is a keep bottle of Satsuma shochu with my name on it and drunken Japanese people celebrating the holiday in the joie de vivre way. And the more I drink this Jameson's, the more I waver on my position. :sad:

It sounds like a couple more shots of that Jameson's and you'll be boarding a flight to Shannon International :irish:.

I have to go to work, and I don't wanna

Last night was good, but it left me wanting more

Mr Osuche overdid it yesterday and is in a lot of pain today

I called in sick to work.

I got my fever to break but I still have a headache.

My glands are the size of golfballs and it hurts to swallow.

Got drunk last night and squandered my one free day's daytime away sleeping it off! Damn! There was so much I could've gotten done. I had fun and I deserved to make some happy, but it wasn't worth the time I could've used better today. Ah, well...

Tried to make it to the storage center in the city to get more boxes, but missed closing time by a hair. I almost thought I'd make it, but it's my fault for not going there directly when I got up today like I should've. Gotta make hay while the sun shines, as they say.

I'm going to get some Korean food for a late dinner.
