Nice--a teacher goes out of her way to be where the kids are anyway. I can see why they would not want to encourage that kind of behavior. Can't you be apathetic, please? You're making the others look bad. ;)

I had a couple of disapointments this morning - but the biggest and best thing that happened was I actually feel good this morning!

I need to buy a Christmas present for my little neice

One of my students was included in a school wide speech contest.


My student gave a great speech and the crowd loved him.


He actually won and I had spent some much time the past week teaching how to be a good loser that I never considered needing to teach him how to be a gracious winner.

1) Depressed from a day of ice rain and gray skies.

2) Enjoyed reading about Saburo Sakai, a Japanese ace who survived WW2.

3) Studying ancient India with my daughter.

1) I amused myself during the staff meeting today mentally undressing my secret crush.
2) I dug out the want ads and looked for a new job at lunch today.
3) I don't know if it's lame to stay at a company I hate, where I get paid well and they just gave us lifers an extra week's vacation, or if that's being a grown-up, and I should count myself lucky.

Everyone assumed I planned every bit of the Christmas party

I think my bosses gained some additional respect for me

I have a job offer where I don't lose my shirt, but maybe don't make as much as I'd like. I'm not sure what to do.

1) Almost six inches of snow fell on my car today, from the time I got to work until the time I left.

2) Had a very frustrating phone call today

I worked at the pool today and two adorable babies were there with their moms!!! They were just toooooo cute and they made me giggle and look forward to having children of my own someday.

I wish I knew why my computer is acting weird a bit...

The university is taking my photo for the school brochure today. Gulp. I was told the photo shoot will cost $2 K. And yes, I will be fully clothed. :p

I am a bachelorette tonight, and God does have a sense of humor.

I'll be having my biggest cram session yet. :D

A university of stupid people that aren't interested in enrollment. :shrug:

~ I just lost all repsect for the Cal-Berkeley if they aren't going to take nekkid pics of osuche. And I thought that was supposed to be the liberal academic institution in this country. :(

- I got a new apartment (with a very cool lady roomie) and now I have to hope that my current landlord will accept me paying this final month's rent at the end of the month as I can't even afford to pay Monopoly money right now.

- All holiday parties are done with, thank Buddha. Now just want to get past this month and into the next anew.

- I have to buy storage boxes for moving from Manhattan Mini Storage. Luckily, they're inexpensive.
