I had a very valuable employee quit on me today

The body has amazing restorative powers - I already feel better after a couple of good nights of sleep

I'm going to have to dig my heels in at work

Today was a good day.


I can't figure out what to do for take out.


I am in need of some serious rubbing.

Tomorrow I leave for Seattle until the end of the week

I hope we get our homework assignment done today

I really need to play catch-up in Finance

One of my previous Lost Boys is in jail.

Another one has been removed from his home.

An online acquaintance/friend I've known for almost 2 years and I started having an online affair about 2 months ago (very hot and steamy)

I've never met her and probably never will, as I wouldn't want to be responsible for breaking up a marriage.

She is currently having a lot of stress about hubby's job, and possibly having to relocate from the city she grew up in, and I find myself acting more as a friend than a lover.

The weather is cold and wet so now I have a leg ache.

I wish I had the energy to post more.

I feel like a stranger.

We turned on the heat last night

I got a great night of sleep and I feel human again

I'm going to loaf this afternoon

1. First time I drove anywhere since my surgery. Surgeon yesterday suggested light driving around town would be okay as long as I felt up to it but suggested waiting until the incision is fully healed before more distant journeys. Still, it's a step forward.
2. Had breakfast with friends this morning. Probably the biggest breakfast since my surgery. That was fun, too.
3. Checked this morning and the incision has filled in enough that the 7.5" by 1.5" is now down to about 5" by 1". Making progress and filling in nicely. :)

1. I felt like myself for a few (always too few) minutes this morning.

2. I went to school and opened both doors, blared the disco vibes and danced while I set things up for this week.

3. I love the book George & Martha. I made split pea soup in their honor today.

I zigged when I should have zagged yesterday

I need to make some tough decisions in my life

I may need someone to talk to

I'm terrified of the presentation I need to give tomorrow.

I hate bedbugs.

I wish I could go home for a week or so... I miss my girls. :(
