I have a travel-free week...which is rare because next week I start the sequence of travel trips for 4 weeks running

I have a lot of stuff in my life that I need to sort out

I have a list of small outdoor projects this afternoon

I did get the anticipated award at last weekend's convention

I'm so loving today's weather here that I'm just soaking it up and not working my day off away!

After paying rent and bills, I am virtually broke until the coming payday on Thursday and so, will not be able to play at night during my days off from work.

Despite being virtually broke, I'm still all good because there's nothing I need to buy to keep me full on my days off, either with food or with material needs.

The only down note of today — finding out that one of my favorite fantasy-adventure authors, Robert Jordan, creator of The Wheel of Time series, died of complications from a blood disorder at age 58. The planned, mammoth-paged final book of the seres, titled "A Memory of Light," remains (so far) unfinished. :(

Clouds and rain have come back to Seattle and it's got me down.

All I wanted to do today was sleep.

My head/necks hurts and I wasn't even motivated to eat lunch.

1. I'm very, very happy for Coaster, though not totally surprised.

2. I think rainy days and Mondays always get Aqua down.

3. I'm wondering if osuche is coming to visit me. :D

1. The dog, though wary, slept for awhile on the bed with me and my sweetie last night. MY side, of course. :D

2. My son starts at the music school tomorrow.

I'm working on my days off cuz a co-worker is on vacation, another is on a special project that takes him off regular design duties and I don't have money to go out anyway...so I might as well make my time work for me.

IT didn't take away my wonky computer to fix the motherboard like they said they were going to.

I'm making sui gyoza miso soup for dinner tonight.

- I walked all 3 dogs for a nice long walk this morning and didn't get dragged into anything. The constant training is paying off.

- I did yard work that had been languishing.

- I answered letters that had also been languishing.

I am getting back on track with work and school - which is great

I've decided that I need to be more positive

Finally got money again!

Finally got my replacement work electronic I.D. pass card!

Finally saw the first mouse in my kitchen since last year's reconstruction work in my apartment!

You ^^^ better put $10 a week in the pig or get to footen towards Nashville now.
