- I find out about this comics issue entry deadline of September 1st for one of the local biweekly papers too damn late to do something well-made for. I can draw fast, but sloppy is as sloppy does. The paper is very popular and it would've been good exposure had I gotten in, which is something I need for my future book endeavors. I had a slight week-long slump at the beginning of the month wherein I could've had something done but didn't work on anything, which pissed me off. I have to keep my eyes open better and get my me-time scheduling more tighter.

~ I skipped going to a minor league baseball game tonight so I could stay home and watch the Cubs game on TV. Yeah I know, that's insane. My buddy that I was going to go with was pretty happy with the decision though, he's as crazy about the Cubbies as I am. :wobbly:

~ Went shopping today and couldn't find what I was actually looking for and still ended up spending $50 on things I wasn't planning on buying. :banghead:
