The lack of periods would be a nice change, I guess.

I find myself thinking more and more about menopause. I am going to be really pissed if I lose my sex drive. Not to mention I don't like to be HOT!!

I do agree that no periods would be wonderful. When my mom had her last kid, which was her third C-section and all they allowed back then, they took out her uterus. She has her overies so no hormone problems. Just the bliss of no periods for the last 35 years.

Well at last... I can add something useful to this thread. My wife is perio-menopausal and is hot all the time and has hardly any sex drive to think of. :( We do have sex but it's never something she is instigating.

Aqua how was her sex drive before it started? And is she looking into ways to improve it? I will be very leery of hormone replacement therapy, but might have to consider it.

I didn't know there was a C-section limit! Interesting.

Not only that, but because she had me first by C-section they did the next two by C-section also. Without even seeing if she could have them natural to start with.

It was pretty high. :boink: She is looking for improvement, but isn't willing to do hormone therapy and she hasn't found anything that really works so far. The good news is, once we get started she gets into it and enjoys herself. ;)

Thanks, I hope she finds something that works for her. I have heard of so many women losing all interest in sex. So sad for them and their S/O. :(

the way they used to make the incision was the key factor there, i think. it used to be the cut that went vertically up the belly...huge slice. any strain on the scar tissue may have proved fatal to mommy and child during labor.

even the new bikini cuts they do rule out any helpful meds during labor like pitosin...at least it did in my case

Oh, her scar is horrible. With me and my sister they cut in the same spot. For some dumbass reason they made a whole new scar with my brother. :rolleyes2

Fangtasia 10-13-2005 01:41 PM

Well mine are being all weird *LOL*every 2-3 weeks....2 days of heavy...and i do mean heavy....then the stop completely for a day then they come back just light enough to be a pain...then they stop again

I think i may need a trip back to the fanny mechanic or the doc for some testing

my two were not in same exact spot but pretty damn close. they said if i was dumb enough to get preggers again and ignore their warnings, they'd have to make the incision about an inch up from the second one. i guess if you slice through muscle enough times in the same spot the scar tissue doesn't grow right.

who knows? either way, we're trying our damndest to be good patients and use protection. :p:D
