1. I got some new catnip toys for the cat, so he'll be entertained while left alone for the holidays - secretly, I'm hoping this little trick will keep my tree standing while I'm away.

2. I'm not at all looking forward to the holiday travels. I greatly dislike holiday stress.

3. I have a lot to do this week, and didn't set myself up well by getting everything done this weekend either.

I'm done with my finals and I have nothing hanging over my head...except packing for my trip to Israel

Mr Osuche is napping, so I can't do any of the cleaning or packing stuff I want to do

I am more exhausted than I should be....

I started a new diet today and think this one just might really work!

* Try to learn a bit more today about something I took up last week.

I get to deliver a gift to a business associate...he just became a new dad and I bought him a present! :D

I have to learn how to pack lightly within the next 24 hours. Hope I'm a quick study!

I'm really, really starting to get excited about my trip that starts tomorrow afternoon.

I've crunched my way through a good sized bag of hard candy.

Chewing hard candy does not satisfy a craving for chocolate.

- I'm still feeling a bit weak from the one-two punch of holiday parties from last Friday and Saturday night

- I went over about $200 on my budget trying to take advantage of seasonal discounts and general partying with other people...now I have to go frugal like a monk for a bit to catch up...hate it but things could be worse

- There is nothing more I want today than to leave work, go back home, crawl into bed and enjoy a good (dirty) book whilst listening to music until I fall asleep. The only thing I would want more than this is to find a money sack of unmarked bills or to have a naked Diora Baird waiting for me when I get home, but neither of those are likely to happen (albeit not impossible) so I will settle for the completely logical former.

1. Had today off so I went and did a little gift shopping. I did really well not buying kiddo any more stocking stuffers. :D

2. Had a few Christmas cookies for breakfast and I did'nt stop for lunch so I just brought the plate to the desk with me.

I bought the exact same personalized Christmas tree ornament for Lake's nephew as Lake had bought yesterday without telling me.

I wanted to work on a paper this afternoon but I ended up wrapping gifts instead.

I made an appointment to get Vinci neutered tomorrow.

I watched the season finale of Survivor and was so happy with the outcome!

I received my final grades from my first quarter of college and have a GPA of 4.00 :D

i drove around town in our new-to-us minivan today. way cool but dang! that thing is big.

my boy has the shits. 20+ diapers today and his little bum is all bloody and sore. every time I wipe it, he screams 'cause it hurts so bad, which has brought me to tears a few times (i really do not like causing him pain...no really, I don’t :D) but it's better than a staph infection. :p

i found it’s not so easy to explain the christian god and my beliefs about religion to a 5 year old who now gets all kinds of info from school-mates. i hope i didn't do any permanent damage :D
