Blackboards are the work of the devil, and made especially made to torture innocent school-children. Erasers (or dusters, as we call them here) are even worse, and leave horrible imprints of chalk dust on your blazer when hit by one thrown by an irate teacher! (Sticks of chalk being the instrument used to actually write on the blackboard!)

I actually knew what a chalkboard was. I was in elementary school when most schools flipped from chalk to dry erase. I was just having fun with you oldsters. LOL.
