OF---I thought that I was dating myself! At least they made calenders when my song was made! Irish
P.S.I didn't think that they used sundials anymore. |
I agree
OF~ I agree tht Rach rocks!
nutworld~dating myself as well, I do not think that there is much by Journey that I do not love. Irish~I too have a strange sexy disco thing! SFC~ like all of your choices but I always find it weird when songs have a specific name, Annie's Song, Mandy, Kathy's Song. Harder fo me to personalize. Eric Clapton's Tears In Heaven is wonderful ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>Lilith |
Lilith---It's funny that I like that song because most Disco;I don't
like.Alltho;most of the things by the "BeeGee"s;I like.I just always admired their personalities.Besides-the lead singer had long hair! That was cool when I was younger!I think it was just the memories that were brought back by the Donna Summer song. Masturbation fantasys!Sex wise that woman was fun;but;I wouldn't want to be married to her. Irish |
I don't know about 'Greatest' but "Thank You" by Led Zepplin is a fave of mine...
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. When mountains crumble to the sea, There will still be you and me. Of course the musical tracks laid down behind the lyrics really add to to the whole mood of the song... Oh yeah, and "That's Amore" by Dean Martin... (Yes, I'm really only 30...) ;) |
my sister & her husband danced to "How Do I Live" by Faith Hill at their wedding....which i thought was really great
|
Aqua man (oh! great wet one)
;) I too am somewhere not far fom your age (a lady never tells) and I have been told that as a small child I could only be soothed by Deano......Maybe that explains my weird attraction to Jerry Lewis:) Zepplin's a fav as well~~~~~~~~~~~~>Lilith

Sounds reasonable to me... ;) I don't know how else you would explain it! |
Lilith&Aquaman---You guys are just kids.My YOUNGEST daughter
is about 34.I'm 57 now and will be 58 at the end of this Mo.(the 27th)I'd like to have the money;that must have been lost;by my classmates in Conn. What with drinking, smoking, racing cars& motorcycles and enforcing for motorcycle gangs; He'll never last! I fooled them!My only vice is sex and I have no intention of giving that up. Irish P.S.Dean Martin???Jerry Lewis???I thought that I was wierd. |
It only gets worse....
Irish and Aquaman~Not only do I have Dean and Jerry thing but I have been known to watch Shirley Temple, Elvis Presley and Japanese Monster movies as well. ~~~~~~~~~~>Lilith

Lilith --- Don't worry, you're not the only weird one! If you asked me my favourite female singer, I'd probably have to say Ella Fitzgerald --- which is the same answer my grandmother (age 83) would give. And I'm only 21!!!!
And OldFart --- Rachmaninoff and Paganini are fabulous, I'd have to agree. But my favourite classical pieces would have to be baroque, which came even earlier! Bach's Goldberg Variations (I only have 13 recordings of that... Only mildly obsessive here! :o) or his Cello Suites (played by YoYo Ma) are definitely my top picks... The Cello Suites are especially good, because the depth of sound just runs through your whole body and the vibrato mirrors the quivering excitement perfectly. They're a little dark for some tastes, but they suit me just fine! --- sweetstuff |
First of all;I have to make a correction. It's my oldest daughter that
is 34.My youngest is ONLY 32! Second-In case the newer members don't know. When I say any- thing that might be construed as derrogatory about someones choices-I am only "Breaking Them."The older members know that about me and the newer members will know that as they get to know my weird sense of humor. Irish 1.Colleen Erin Ahern--34yrs 2 kids-Boy&Girl.-Separated 2.Kelly Shawn Ahern--32yrs 2kids-2Boys.- 1 Autistic-Divorced P.S.People have little doubt when I'm serious. |
Lilith... Bring on Mothra and Mechazilla!!!
Sweetstuff... Ella is wonderful! Have you ever heard Ravel's Bolero? Irish... Kid is right!! I can still pass as 17... (when I shave anyway...) :D and I still play as often as possible!! |
Aquaman43---Shaving does make a big difference in the age that
you appear.I had a full beard for over 20 yrs. When I went to a different job(security guard)a few years ago;they said that I had to shave, cut my hair shorter and take my stud earring out at work My hair was only shoulder length,my beard was neatly trimmed; but i figured that I'd play their silly game.My wife( of 36yrs)said: "I don't understand;you're the same person if you have a beard or not!"I said"I know that&you know that;but obviously they don't"We subcontracted for Liberty Mutual and;I saw;the sloppiest people that I ever saw there.Go figure. Irish P.S.You didn't used to run a motorcycle shop with a crewcut!Image creates business. |
Picked up from the Net "Summertime" by Ella and Louis.
Most excellent. Johnny Mathis "Twelfth of Never" and Deano "Volare" Anything smooth and mellow. |
OF
How 'bout "Come Rain or Come Shine" or "You're nobody til somebody loves you"? Very smooth, mellow great for dancing!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>Lilith
