A home owner nightmare. Ok you win on the 'my day sucked more then yours did' game.

I'm willing to share my shower with you.

PF's idea about getting water from your neighbours is a good one. Turn off your main water feed - otherwise the water coming in from the neighbours will go into the broken pipe. Some codes require a back-flow preventer on all water suppy to the exterior of the hosue - keep water from say you hot tub from siphining back into clean water. The back-flow valve will have to be remove.

Host a Pixies landscaping party, followed by hot tubing, drinks, and a BBQ. Just make sure the work is done before the play begins.

Don't let this wreck your weekend. Enjoy the event and the time together. Take a bath together???

I now have PICTURES of the 5' deep trench currently in my front yard, if anyone is interested. LMAO. I may post them in a bit.

IAKaraokeGirl 09-22-2004 04:07 PM

<--- would only have 3" of the top of her head sticking out if she were standing in it. LOL. :D

So here it is - before and after. Now I need a beer. :D

WildIrish 09-22-2004 04:19 PM

Eeeeeeek! There's a strapping young MAN in that trench! :hot:

Funny how much longer the job takes when some sexy lady is filling in the hole every night after they leave. :D

osuche 09-22-2004 04:23 PM

Damn, WI...you're quick-witted. I was planning on doing exactly that this evening. :D I haven't been laid in about 3 weeks, and I was thinking about jumping him...dirt and all...and the hell with getting my water service back. LMAO.

Of course, the second guy is even cuter than the first... :hot:

They think they might be done tomorrow afternoon. If yes, I told them we'd celebrate with some beer. I plan on lowering their inhibitions and having my way with them...

WildIrish 09-22-2004 04:27 PM

You should see the hell I give my lady roofers.

Lilith 09-22-2004 04:29 PM

If you need assistance let me know. Glad it's getting done!

osuche 09-22-2004 05:59 PM

Lil...you bring the whips. I've got planty of pantyhose to tie them down. It'll be fun!

;)

And with any luck, we'll both be able to take showers tomorrow afternoon when we're done. I recommend we wait until then to jump 'em. :hot:

You may get everything fixed at no additional cost. :D

Glad it's getting done ... just sorry you got stuck with such a bill. :(

Well that does not look like a DIY job. Did they have to break up your walk to your house? Skip the beer, enjoy a good single malt Scotch on the porch.

I'm surprised that you were able to focus on the ditch at all. What colour are his eyes?

By the by, remove all your airaitors on any of your taps until all the pipes are flushed at each tape.

osuche 09-22-2004 10:28 PM

I have no damn idea what color his eyes are, but I can describe his derriere to a "t." LMAO

Excellent point canteenboy! Excellent point! You're gonna need to flush out your lines and you don't want your faucet screens plugging up.

I kinda like that advice about scotch too!

osuche 09-23-2004 08:10 AM

Scotch at 9 am? WI, shame on you! ;)
