i dunno Id rather take a twister over an earthquake. At least they can warn ya about a twister.

airdog the thing with a good quake is all your stuff is in one pile and not in the next county like with a twister.

Haven't experienced either Cyclone or Earthquake......and hopefully i never will!!

Though up north it is cyclone season....nasty bloody things

maybe so, but even the largest tornados only leave a swath of destruction no greater than a quarter of a mile if even that. usually a few homes get hit during smaller ones. OTOH a earthquake is widespread and there is no escaping one.

No hurricanes or Tornadoes where I am... although i think we did have a really small funnel touch down near here once. They (the seismologists) say we're due for a BIG quake up here, though those are pretty rare, and I am fairly close to Mt. Rainier, which it is said is probable to blow 'soon'. Keep in mind 'soon' in volcanic terms could mean 10 years or 200.
