1. Yesterday was a 14 hour day. God, I hope today goes better.

2. Despite exhaustion, it's 5 am (I went to bed at 1 am) and I can't sleep

1) Golf was rained out this morning. :(

2) I took my kids to their swim lessons today and I am so proud of them! :loveshowe:

3) I took a very brief but nice afternoon nap.

1. I got to talk to my little girl twice today

2. Actually had a decent conversation with my son over dinner

3. I got a couple outdoor projects done before the rains came

1) Invited the friend that is going to be looking after my cat while I'm gone over for a nice mornig latte
2) Ran around town shopping, buying food and other staples for the camping trip
3) Had a friend over for dinner - I BBQ (smoker) a salmon and made three salads. She brought the wine.

1. Received a cute PM about someone looking for me--that questioned me being tied up

3. Can't seem to get time to myself lately

Yesterday it got up to 97F in Berkeley...and there's NO AC to be found in this town. We broke several heat records.

Today we're supposed to help friends move, but it's hot again...and because of the heat my arthritis is flaring up

I don't want to go to work tomorrow and sit behind a desk in the heat. Oh, and I haven't gotten my homework done because it's too hot to think.

The magical 4th....I am NOT cooking for my fancy dinner party in this heat, so we may go out (looking for a restaurant with AC)

It's been a nice weekend here weather wise, it's a cool 77 today.

Me thinks CrystalBlue is gonna become a posty-perv here.

I'm slacking off before going to start some housework.

1. If I don't get a return phone call soon, I'm going to be one pissed-off karaokegirl.

2. Two weeks from now I'll be in Austin...I can't wait.
