Over Thanksgiving I took a mini one, about 6 hrs. round trip.


When was the last time you saw an ocean?

November 4th when we went up to our daughter's home near Chicago. (I'm not counting quick trips into Peoria or anything like that.)

Labor Day weekend. Floated the river with friends.

Yesterday ... "The Gargoyles"

Actually did that last night. Not on purpose, just sort of drifted off there and that's where I found myself when I woke up later on.

Just last weekend.

Pretty much a daily thing for me. Not a lot of things here in my little berg of under 600.


When was the last time you caught yourself whistling or singing while grocery shopping?

I don't really remember ... but I often hum a tune when I'm walking around and I bought some groceries yesterday so probably then. I just didn't 'catch' myself doing it.

WWTLT you slipped and fell down?

A few weeks ago. Had a bit of an icy afternoon and I slipped on the steps while bringing in groceries.


When was the last time you took a roll of film in to be developed?

Got to be 5 years or more since I've been using digital for at least that long.

I think it would've been while I was in grad. school. One of the profs was having one and insisted I join in so probably around '92.

It was about a year ago. We replaced the one in our bedroom.

Listened to a couple of CDs today (well, yesterday).

Probably last night at Wally World. I was waiting at the front of the store while my wife finished shopping and there were several really attractive ladies that walked past me.

Yesterday morning. I meant to scramble the thing but I let it hit the fire before I got around to it.

Two days ago. Added a little to the tires on our Mazda.

Probably a couple of weeks ago when I got myself a new electric razor.

Haven't had that pleasure since I don't have a garage.

The last time I actually "went out" for New Year's was probably about 15 yrs ago. Got an annual party that a friend hosts each year.

It's been a long time, maybe ten years or more ago.

I think it was Dec. 31, 1999. Had quite a few too many that night.

I don't think I ever have spent the night in a hotel on New Year's Eve.

This past summer we had my tux dry cleaned. I think that was the last I can remember anyway.

Never been on one. Been on riverboats before but never one that was a floating casino.

I went to Circus, Circus out in Vegas back in 1985 and I think that's the last time I've been to anything like that. (Would've loved to gone to what you saw today though Tess, I've heard it's incredible.)

Last spring, I think. Got two pairs of dress shoes (brown and black).
