At coffee this morning, a friend who just got back from a trip to Italy indicated their prices (converted to gallons from liters) figured about $8.00 a gallon. :yikes:

There is a refinery less than 50 miles from here yet we continue to have some of the highest gas prices in the nation - I saw it was going for around 3.28 today! I saw recently where they raised the price of a barrel of oil because of SPECULATION of the demand this summer!!! Bastards!

Funny, our gas went up 8 cents Thursday, the day before the long weekend. There is no price fixing, but everyone know that the price goes up before every long weekend in the summer. We are paying $1.11/litre.

Gas went up .07 cents here to celebrate the 4th

$2.84/gal is the lowest I can find around Baltimore. I'm surprised that it dropped so quickly.
