Ended up with a brief but pretty heavy shower yesterday (Thursday … keep forgetting it won't be Friday for another 40 minutes). Didn't affect much, but the moisture was good as our grass is starting to dry out a bit.

77F with 88% humidity under clear skies going up to 88F with mostly cloudy skies later today (Monday). Chance of rain goes up tonight to about 40% by midnight. We really could use some … grass is starting to dry (of course that means less mowing :) ).

73F and partly cloudy at 12:30AM. 77F is the expected high today with thunderstorms in the area. Looks like they'll get here around 9AM and last until about 9PM. Probability is highest this afternoon getting to about 80-90%.

Actually, just looked at the weather map and it appears we may see some rain pretty soon. Rain appears to be nearing the Illinois river (about 10 miles from here) and is coming our way. I even think I hear a bit of thunder some distance off. :(

1:28am and the rains are here. Coming down pretty good right now. From the map, what had looked like a large mass of rain has dissipated some and a reasonably narrow band is passing over us now. There will, however, be more later. (We need the rain, but it'd be nice to get it in gentle showers and now thunderstorms. Oh well, Mother Nature didn't ask. :( )

70F/21.1C right now, with clear skies, and high humidity (92%). Expected high today of 86F/30C, although today is supposed to be "nearly the same" as yesterday, and the temperature exceeded that.
