Made a nice dinner

Got to actually lay on the couch for a bit

I had an interview today I feel good about.
I let a friend use my yard for video shoot.
I let a Pixie touch my heart.

1. My sweetheart and I are falling into a comfortable routine...and it's nice.

2. I've color-coordinated my clothes for tomorrow so that I can wear my new, gorgeous earrings.

3. I haven't started packing for the upcoming flight. *sigh*

Compiled a strategy document for work, and won points with my boss :)
Got all the classes I wanted for Fall Sememster....and did a small happy dance
Called Mr. Osuche and let him know how much I missed him

Spent $90 on groceries :(

Friend stopped by for a little bit

Actually took a nap.......so it wasn't long, but it was nice.

1. My boss had a half-day trial scheduled, which ended up settling at the courthouse...but not before two cameramen and eight reporters, including one from "20/20" showed up and wanted to speak with him. How cool is that?

2. We got the memo at work today about "Staff Appreciation Week" next week--apparently we get taken out to a nice, nice place for lunch on Friday, and I get the impression we don't go back, since lunch lasts 2-3 hours. LMAO.

3. I am looking forward, in a way, to peace and quiet.

I took my boys to the skateboard park for a while tonight.
I am praying the message on my machine is an offer and not a polite decline.
I'm drinking coffee before bed!

3. Enlightened to another facet of Pixies tonight

Heading to Peoria to help with the weekend my wife is on
Got to finish up a statue I'm restoring that'll be donated to a church in Kentucky
Need to work on our back lawn and plant some flowers for my wife

Went to the children's park for a little bit

Filled up my truck with $59 worth of gas (damn)

Paid for our yearly tags

1. Got my car insurance bill, one more crappy thing in a day full of crappy things

2. Dealt with school beaurocracy in order to get a letter that I *hope* will get me class credit.

3. Realized that several others share my frustration with my company...although I'm still not sure what to do about it!

I got the statue done that I was restoring.
I became a great uncle
I got in a pretty good nap this afternoon

I got my new Hannah Fury CD in the mail. :D
I feel a tad bit melancholy.
I want to watch a movie tonight!
