Well, we didn't get the rain yesterday but the forecast says we're getting some light rain now (I'm not where I can see out the window at the moment) with thunderstorms later in the day. Temps are 57F now (1AM) going up to 76F later today.

Help my wife get to school this morning; run some errands; get my haircut; and mow the lawns. Finally got some pretty good rains and I swear the grass grew two inches almost immediately (or so it seemed).

75F with partly cloudy skies (1:30AM). Actually, we just had a short but somewhat heavy rain shower pass through within the last 1/2 hour. Today, rain is predicted with the high around 82F (that'll feel good after the 90s we've been having. Of course, it'll mean mowing again. :(

We've had nearly 2 weeks of really hot (for Scotland!) weather, reaching as high as 26-27C at times (about 80F I think).

That's due to break any time now, with thunder'n'lightning and all that good stuff. Feels pretty muggy this morning, so I don't think it's far away now .. .. ..

Had some terribly hard rains yesterday morning. Streets and parking lots were filled with water. Gutters overflowed. A number of folks told us their rain gauges had about 4" of rain all within a relatively short amount of time. It was a bit cooler, to be sure, but today will head back up. 71F now (1:30AM) going up to 91F with sunny skies. Going to try and get my lawn mowed this morning while the temps are still reasonable.
