My reminders aren't enough? :p I am overwhelmed at work. I would really like a different motorcycle. I can't wait for next month... two trips planned and Portal 2 will be released! |
I road my motorcycle in to work today
I happen to have a motorcycle for sale........ I finally got a sword hilt welded up. |
I am chopped liver.
I had the best day with my mom including lunch at a place she worked at when I was a kid. Food w/sentimental attachment and superb company. I loved visiting with my family but am eager to get home to my lovies. And I am eager for April to get here as it brings a visit from Aqua with it. |
Not sure if I'm getting a cold or if the mold that is prolly in this room is getting me.
There is fire in the foothills, and last night there was so much smoke over the mountains that it looked like rain clouds. I want good internet service!!!!! |

I made sure the Honda Shadow I'm selling is ready to ride.
I'm waiting on the dude that wants to check it out to call and say he's on the way. I'm not feeling very patient. |
Just one Grandson and his mother moving to MO words cannot describe how sad I am
|
Went to Zumba this morning
Took my kiddo to test (a 5 hour test) for his 2nd degree brown belt today Celebrated with frozen yogurt and Taco Bell :p |

Replaced the toilet in the master bath. Easiest plumbing job I've had ever...I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Finished the touch-up paint on the kitchen cabinets. Did 5 loads of laundry. Tomorrow, I play. |
Water changed my common and pep BN today (and both also have fry now!)
I have around 200 apple snails with 20 or so new clutches of eggs *L* (prolific beaties) I downloaded IE9. Not sure on it 1st up. Now i've got it set i will say its better than IE8 and way faster. Still getting used to things in different places *L*, but overall not too bad at all! |
It is a good thing I have 2 jobs
I love where I live in the spring time Since the Gov here is requiring state workers to take whiz quizes lots of peeps are talking about forming a "Pee Party." :p |
I don't think anything pisses me off more than electronic devices.
I do love those devices when they work right. I managed to body slam myself this evening and I'm afraid of how it's going to feel after sleeping. |
I sold the Honda Shadow yesterday.
I'm going to look at 1975 Ranchero tonight. Not sure if this car is what I'm looking for yet. |
Glad I got a shower, no hot water for doing dishes. :(
Tired of living here, need apartment. Need to arrange a ride for daughter after track practice next week. Bonus: kid in hallway needs to shut up!!!!!!!! |
Most Honorable Son #2 may have asthma. Going to see an asthma and allergy specialist. His Mama-San is not so convinced yet.
I love people, especially ones who are so ridiculously transparent. I am seriously considering attending a big (by our standards) food truck event on Thursday here. Sounds like a party in a box, literally. |
1) Been up since 4am cause I have so much on my mind with work.
2) There's a very good chance I will have to travel to Japan next month on business, and I need to find a way to break it to my wife. 3) I am thinking about going to visit a Pixie friend in the Fall. |
Hey rabbit, if you go to Japan could you buy me a traditionally made No'dachi? Should only be about 15-20k US..............
|
Why? It's a dog of a weapon, the Japanese version of the Buntline Special.
|
You might be thinking of O"dachi Oldfart. The No"dachi generally have a 30-36 inch blade with a three hand grip. Nothing I can't handle. Plus traditionally made swords are made out of tamahagane steel which takes over 3 days to smelt. The sword itself takes months to make and is completely done by hand without any modern tools. I've done a lot of research into this.

I had a lot to do at work today and it was making me crazy.
My evening did not go as planned at all. Strike that. One thing did go as planned. Looking forward to a road trip with my kiddo. Friday night through Saturday night is going to be a long day. Will be paying a visit to my ex's mom. I think it will be a nice visit though. |
I had a really weird April Fool's Day. No one pranked me except life. Perhaps because I took part in several pranks on others.
Making a list of all the things I need to get done before my company get here later this month. I am trying to decide if I want to make contact with someone who has put the word out they would like to speak to me about a job. |
I planted 60 gladioli today.
I replanted some strawberry plants and some volunteer poppies that were on the wrong side of the wall. Think I got a bit of a sunburn, but not bad. |
1) I just arrived in Augusta, Georgia to take in Monday's practice round of The Masters. Golf just doesn't get better than this!
2) Went to the Atlanta Zoo today and saw my first panda bear. 3) I realized today just how much I miss living in the South. |
The rabbit will rise again?
|
Quote:
And the best part is you'll have the opportunity to go south again the end of June for a weekend with some exceptional people. .................. and I'll be there too. :D |
Quote:
So they volunteered for the south instead of the north? On another note....I happen to have some of that great aloe vera lotion stuff for sunburns :horny: |
I spent several hours trying to fix a drawer on my wardrobe.
Turns out I need to shim one side of said drawer to make everything line up. I didn't get a chance to wash the bike like I wanted because of said drawer. |
I shopped- for something for Aqua to eat ;) :hot:
I gardened- put in a watermelon plant, some bush cukes, lots of flowers including there pretty variegated double impatiens. They are probably the last I will add to the yard and garden this season. I cooked- a lentil goulash for my veg head, a pot roast w/ all the trimmings for everyone else, and a to die for dessert. Brownies w/ homemade dulce de leche and toasted vanilla marshmallows. |
Quote:
Vice-versa, actually. I needed them on the south. Please come over and rub that all over me, m'lord, if you would be so kind. I'll make it worth your while. :brows: |
Hmmmm.....work or a trip? I'd rather have take the trip. To bad I can't afford the ticket. I hate to disappoint such a lovely lady as yourself, but I'm afraid I'll have to take a rain check.
|
Quote:
Oh don't lean on me man, 'cause you can't afford the ticket I'm back from Suffragette City. :jester: |
I'm not asking for help getting it, just saying give me time to save up is all.
|
I'm about to work on my new old car.
It's actually fairly nice out today. I had to renew my driver's license. |
