Tomorrow, I have to say goodbye to my co-worker from this summer. She's going back home. :( I made her cinnamon ice cream as a farewell gift!

I think GreenChef should be getting home from Guatemala in the next couple days, and I'm eager to hear from him!

I am not happy that my cold that had seemed to be diminishing came back with a vengeance this morning.

I am also not happy that we had a problem at work and I had to work on it for about 2 hours when I really just wanted to rest. At least I was able to do it from home.

What's wrong with it?

the heating coil broke and we can't just buy the coil because we aren't licensed. instead, the whole housing has to come out and the part is 135 plus tax and possibly shipping. at least i don't have to pay some guy 100+/hr to come to the house so i can look at his buttcrack while he fixes it.

Ugh! I've never had a heating coil go (knock on woody). With ours, it's always been the belt that lets go so I've been able to do it myself. If only I could get someone to pay to watch my buttcrack while I fix it...that'd be GOLDEN!!!

First time I changed a dryer belt, I was in high school. My mother handed me the new belt and asked if I could do her a favor and install it. I didn't know you could open the top of the dryer (like a clamshell) and expose everything you need to, so I changed the belt by shoving my arm through the teeny tiny access hole at the bottom of the back of the machine. It was like building a ship in a bottle!

I don't know which would be more embarassing...having a doctor remove a copper elbow from around my pecker, or having one pull something from an orifice. Both make me shudder!

There was an episode of Jackass where one of the guys encased a Hot Wheels car in a rubber and shoved it up his butt. The funny part was he then went to the hospital and got an x ray of it. There was an episode of House where a kid walked into the clinic to have an mp3 player removed from his butt. I highly doubt they'd raise an eyebrow to removing a bolt and nut from yours.

I spent 12 hours prepping, priming, painting, and cleaning up in the kitchen yesterday.

Lordy, am I hurting today. I'm too old for this shit.
