I drove a bit today and found two more grocery stores, hopefully they are more reasonably priced.

I drove to the shore yesterday but didn't get far enough off the beaten path to find a place to park so I could sit in the sand or dip my feet in the water. On the way back, I took an extended drive through the quaint shore towns.

I took a trip to the mall, and I found the sales clerks to be very friendly, course it wasn't exactly the cheapest of stores where I found things to buy either.

then came home and fired up the grill for pork chops

1. I got a note from my sweetheart early, early this morning, saying that his stepmother had passed away and that he was waiting to hear when the service would be in order to make an inpromptu trip back to Kentucky. These are the times I hate long-distance relationships most of all.

2. I'm getting down to crunch time, but I think--honestly--that things will be okay.

3. I think I needed some relaxation this weekend with my children.

1. I woke up on the nasty side of the bed this morning, and I've never gotten better

2. Because of #1, it was an unproductive day at work

3. I have too many tasks and not enough time.....and certainly not enough patience

1) Slept pretty good last night so feel pretty good this morning.
2) Will be glad to see the new water heater installed this morning.
3) Glad to see the temperatures moderate (and the chance for a bit of rain this afternoon.

1. I have had *the* best day, even though I've had to spend most of it training my replacement.

2. I've gotten some emails today that remind me how special certain people think I am, and that's *always* a good thing.

3. I see the light at the end of the proverbial tunnel.

1- I worked late and my feet hurt.

2- It's starting to get sad at work- people keep hugging me and telling me how much they're going to miss me.

3- I've got hurt feelings.

I guess it wasn't a great day.

1. A tarot card reading last night was eerily applicable to what's happening in my life right now--and reassuring.

2. I *know* I'm going to have to leave some things unfinished here, and it bugs me.

3. I got to cross *two* things off of the VERY short list today. :D

1. I'm really bummed out that two of my sparklies are missing in my new glasses and that the frames have been discontinued, squashing the option of replacement frames--but it's kind of nice that I got the upgraded Vera Wang ones ordered tonight for free. :D

2. I searched in vain last night for a reminder from the distant past that I knew probably wasn't there but that I was praying *was.*

3. A year ago at this time, things were much different for me...and I have a pretty good idea about the big changes of the next 365 days, and how *positive* they're going to be in contrast.

1. Working in the soup kitchen is unbelievably rewarding.

2. I almost hate myself for becoming a mushball.

3. I still hate PF.

1. For 10 hours and 58 minutes at work today, I was just fine.

2. I am in no way ready for the pool party tomorrow.

3. I really don't care much about #2, though. :D

1. My eye is bugging me from an injury earlier this year. :(

2. I blame the dog for the mess in the house. :jester:

3. PF is a dork.

#1- I consider the demise of Jeffrey Dahmer a righteous cause and service to my fellow man. :D

#2- I know that feeding somebody a deadly poison is more humane than somebody like him deserves. :devilish:

#3- My emissary is inching Gretel,.. I mean Steph, closer to the cooking pot all the time. :jump:
