I confess, life sure seems to get hectic after retirement. I remember thinking I'd be relaxing on the patio ... but I feel busier now than when I was working full time. :shrug:

Not yet. It's dry (and hot) as hell here right now. It's like walking out the door into an oven. Which is why I've not ventured out but once, to let the dogs out this morning. It was already over 90 in the shade then.

My car read 102 outside today then in 5 miles and a shower 77. Crazy.

I confess, the storm that passed through our area a few hours ago was a doozy. Lots of wind, lightning and thunder and, briefly, a real heavy downpour of rain.

She must be chained in a dungeon and trapped to still be in a place like that.

I confess the pre-gym workout stuff I just drank tastes awful. Why does everything that is supposed to help taste so horrible?

Looked at the clock to see if we were near 2AM, but, it's only a quarter to midnight. I was going to say, it was nice to have company ... but ... I guess I'm still a loner. :(
