When was the last time you watched an eclipse?

Back in the late seventies or early eighties. It was a partial eclipse and several amateur astronomers set up telescopes near the entrance to the building I worked in and let people look through during the eclipse. Interesting seeing the "sawblade-like edges which we understood was the light shining between mountains on the moon.

Just the other day when a man stopped and where I got a magnet I had on the side of my car ... I told him but said I wasn't sure if they still had more ... so I took mine off and gave it to him. (Ended up I was able to get a replacement.)
