I fried my external hard drive accidentally Tuesday night and had to buy a new one yesterday. Most of what I put on there was stuff I already had saved on discs. I didn't lose much except a lot of music files, some downloaded porny shit and the minor bits of creative graphic material stuff I had been accumulating to use since the end of January. I can gradually recoup everything, it's just fucking annoying to do so.

The above reminded me of the ephemeral quality of life and that nothing is permanent. I have to remind myself in staying sharp and focused.

My new computer, which I had planned to have by now, is slooooowly drifting away from my reach...where did I steer wrong?

I swear my nails grow faster now that I'm older.

I'm finally over the fatigue and nutrient fallout from Thursday night's drink-bombing on my system. And I am keeping myself in until I re-learn my mind not to be so damned undisciplined and lazy.

It's hard not being lazy, or at least being languorous, which is that sexier state of being lazy where you spend all the time you could be being productive staying in bed, drinking red wine and reading erotica and porn and masturbating.

My taramosalata was inexplicably spoiled last night when I opened it to use it on my homemade chicken burgers...and now I desire a new jar. Will probably go get some after work.

I went to a cabane à sucre - a sugar cabin, where everything you eat is maple flavoured. It was good, but the food wasn't incredibly great... But the maple syrup was :D

3. I have class tonight, but I am ready for it!

1) I delighted at seeing the first crocus of spring.

I just finished doing overtime work today as my boss was out for a doctor's appointment.

I could go out now...so very, very easily...and nobody would blame me for wanting that slice of nightlife fun on my own dime...but I won't! I am going to discipline my ass back into gear!

Thinking of doing so much with my one day off tomorrow...won't be able to fit everything in, but I think I'm going to try.

Today will be an interesting day, I am finally getting a new aide. I give him 3 days.

Today was amazingly good, summer-like weather and I had to spend it in the office working! Luckily, work was not very stressful or too busy.

My roommate woke me up to come have after hours drinks with her friends she brought over our apartment after they hung out last night. Then she ended up fucking one of them after the other one left come sunrise and our happy home was filled with those magical sounds of huffa-huffa-huffa as I tried to get in three more hours of wine-drunken sleep before work today.

I'm thinking of hanging out tonight, but don't want to get crazy-ballistic. I need to get in some good dirty artwork time.

I treated myself to Vietnamese for supper. It was alright, but I should have ordered something smaller.
