Woke up feeling poorly.

Tried to call in sick to work but I was covering for someone else and couldn't get anyone to cover so I tried to leave for work and only made it as far as backing into the street before getting light headed and pulled back into the driveway.

Called work back and said I was not comming, don't care if you fire me or write me up but I was gonna get a ride to the doctors.

Woke up feeling poorly

My best friend added me to his IM and completely made my week

I have to dream up something exciting to do with my mom this week

We haven't seen our little girl since last Christmas... going to CA in 2 weeks to see her!

Going to VT on Sunday for a couple days and some hot tubbing with another couple... no , not like it sounds!

I have a lot less work hours these days

i have to go and have my mammo gram today oh joy

i am going to breakfast with my family

i am hoping to relax the rest of the day

1) Made breakfast for the family this morning.

2) Had a conference call this AM, even though it is Saturday.

3) The house is quiet again now that all family has gone back home.

Think I'm comming down with a cold now too.

I have to go to work when all I wanna do is go back to bed.

I'm so mentally & physically exhausted from this still-continuing moving that I can't even find power to bitch about how lousy my end-of-year holiday is.

I remind myself that I'm still healthy enough to power myself to make this move happen under my own steam, on top of getting a good and cheaper spot to move to on the last penny of this month's paychecks and that I shouldn't be bitching about anything at all.

Because of my hiatus in preparing my own meals, I've been eating takeout again, which makes me feel lousy for not only breaking my steady diet, but also spending three times more money than I should or would be spending. I can't wait to get my kitchen stuff up and running again.

Hit the grocery store today and spent soooooooooooooooo much just to buy healthy food.

Most honorable son #1 got his ear pierced today after telling me for 16 years it was gay. Seems his girlfriend doesn't think it's gay.

I'm wearing my new mp3 player and my new headphones. I can't wear normal ear buds because my ears are too tiny. They are the only thing that will ever be described as too tiny on me.

I did NOT get my cast replaced this morning after all. It would've been the 3rd one in 3 weeks.

I'm tired as hell of being immobile.

I'm glad you can't use the normal ear buds, Lil. I wore mine 8 hours a day for a couple years, as I work in a cubicle warren, and I KNOW I have hearing damage from it. Earphones are better for you.

Opened a bottle of Cabernet Sauvingnon but it was vile so am enjoying a nice bottle of Chilean Shiraz instead

I'm tired and my neck hurts

I am hungry, and I have no NYE plans.

~ I will be so happy when the Iowa Caucuses are over so all of the politcal advertisements and phone calls will stop.

~ A quiet night of college football bowl games and maybe a couple of beers will be how I finish up my 2007.

~ I am hoping that I'll be able to find my way clear to visit my parents out in California again this coming summer.

I AM FINISHED WITH THE MOVE! Thank Buddha! Carting brickloads of shit down and then back up three flights of stairs TWICE in one week on no energy from breakfast and barely any good sleep is not something I want to experience again for a LOOOOOONG time!

All expenses together, it cost me nearly $500 doing the move when I thought it'd only cost me $200, but because of the month-long stress involved with getting my life back on track and the physical backbreaking that went along with sorting, packing and moving, it was WORTH IT. Plus, I gave my biz to a local guy instead of a large company.

Because of my new roommate's deliciously HUGE television in "our" living room, I almost feel like saying fuck it to doing the bar thing and just watching anime movies all night long into the new year. But I don't really have anything to drink at home, so...

1. I was hoping IowaMan would come visit *me* :D

2. I didn't make it until midnight last night. Must've been the drinks at dinner. ;)

3. Kiddos come home in two days. Yep, I'm excited.

I'm hoping I can find some way to make that work too. :wish:

1) Slept late due to NYE party and too much beer.

2) Cleaned out the garage today

3) Hosted my in-laws for dinner

My body is aching thanks to the multi-day rainstorm we have moving in

I really don't feel all that great today - tummy ache, glands hurt, and I am getting chills

I have to speak at a school recruiting event tonight, and I am not in the mood.

Because of this damned Iowa caucus crap, I have to stay at work late when I really need to be at my old apartment throwing out the trash finally for the trash pickup at 2 in the morning.

The biting cold is also making the impending long night of doing the above and then going to my new home when it's done that much more irritating as the trains run on slow after 12.

I haven't had any real time to myself for my art or exercise, but it's almost there.

I started out feeling much better today, but as the morning wears on I feel crappy

Tonight is my last night with Mr Osuche, and he still hasn't shaved off that damn beard.

I'm not sure I want to go to wine country tomorrow

After lugging out the final trash bags at two in the morning last (freezing) night, it feels so GOOD to be totally done with my old apartment and moving on with (well-heated) life in the new one.

I'm going to need to get some new shelving units from IKEA.

It's amazing how many adult/erotic comic books, graphic novels and porn magazines I've accumulated. And I've read and can remember every last one of them, down to the last page.

I finally got the CHristmas stuff packed up, and our house is Christmas free for the next 11 months :D

Had a headache so took a 3 hour nap after the child went to school.

Watched vids on youtube for awhile.

Sorted and cleaned out one of my email accounts.

~ The lab at the Univ. of Iowa still doesn't know for sure what caused the lymph node in my armpit to swell up like it did. Had the thing removed in a biopsy back on Nov. 19. :(

~ FINALLY got my final Christmas package sent off in the mail today.

~ My kitty got attacked by another cat today. :mad:

This is my final day in charge of the sports center - the boss is finally back tomorrow!

I should be working on my mémoire, but I'm procrastinating.

I wish it was snowing instead of raining.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to break down and hire an attorney.

My students will be back tomorrow.

I'm trying to have a new attitude.

I've almost forgotten how good it feels to be able to pay the rent with virtually ONE check out of the month instead of all four.

The next two days will be the first days off from work in a month that I'll have space to be completely selfish for me and me alone, instead of hustling to find a new place to live, cleaning or moving stuff. And I almost don't know what to do with the free time.

Want to try a neighborhood run in the morning, but my new area has no nearby parks or expansive streets/avenues like my old one, unfortunately.

I have a "date" (with a friend) tonight, and I have no clue what we're doing :D

I'm getting all my work done before our vacation

I've started packing for CA

I was thinking of 70 degree weather as I shoveled slush today

I had a weird, vivid, sexual dream this morning that I tried to write the particulars down after waking in order to use as grist for a possible story or art later on.
