Live Christmas tree versus artificial?

Artificial.

Actually, I like the real trees, but, the artificial have a lot of advantages ... no needles falling; no drying out and presenting a fire hazard; cost over a few years at least (although the real are getting very expensive); pick of shapes and needle lengths; and, probably some others. Sprayed with "pine scent, they even smell real :).
