Deduction...I'm very contemplative and analytical by nature.

Paint colors - vivid or neutral?

Depends on what I'm using the paints for, but, I would say neutral or muted shades are what I generally prefer.

Cars: Sporty or utilitarian?

Utilitarian...I just need it to function and can't afford to choose a vehicle that offers both.

Fade into obscurity or go out with a bang?

Interesting question. Hmmmm. I'm really not sure. Part of me would like to just fade away quietly and part of me would like it to be at a time where something I've done really captures attention. Most of the time, I suspect I'm more of the quiet passing sort of guy.
