Wifey was pointing out to me that we seem to have traded our usual weather with the Pacific Northwest (my sister is in Oregon). We've been unusually mild & rainy for the last week or so, normally the "dog days" here are closer to what ^he^ has going on...

65F right now with some light rain. Suppose to get up to 76F today with showers continuing. Going to be a bit soggy, I suppose.

Warm - haven't checked the temperature - but cloudy. It hasn't rained, however, so I'd better get off my arse and do some watering!

60F this morning and expected to go up to 79F later today. Not bad weather for people although our farmers would like some hot weather to help the corn crop mature. While the corn crop looks fantastic, a friend of mine who farms says they're short on thermal units to help the corn finish maturing. If they don't get the heat, crop yields could fall from over 200 bushels to the acre to maybe 100 to 150. :yikes:
