Hang up the damn cell phone and pay attention to DRIVING!

If the bass speaker is as big as your back seat, it doesn't belong in your shitty little car. :)

Hmmmm I seem to remember a story I was told about a late nite drive and a phone convo. :D

Ok...I'm an asshole.

I went around the end of an aisle at the grocery store, and PLOWED right into the cart of an old lady! I swear the entire store turned around to look at me! How embarrassing! All I could say was "At least the air bags didn't deploy!" :D

maddy 02-27-2006 11:26 AM

I think grocery stores should be run like any other well planned road... there should be parking lanes and driving lanes... and it wouldn't hurt to have a center line as well.

Traffic lights would help too! ha ha

Actually, now that it's being discussed, does anyone else notice how the carts are getting wider and the aisles narrower? I swear, I feel like I'm trying to drive a fucking dumptruck through an alley!

maddy 02-27-2006 12:24 PM

Yes - I noticed that when I went to Big Y and Marshalls in the same day - the carts at Marshall's are sooooo small compared to those anywhere else. Speaking of shopping carts - it drives me batty when places don't have cart corrals in the parking lots, or when they do have cart corrals and people are too lazy to use them. And goodness, I know bricks and mortar are expensive - but couldn't Big Y have them in the STORE rather than outside?

What's the deal with the carts with the plastic kid holders up front...and why the heck is it that when I got to the store that's all they have left? Then I have to traipse around with a kid holder cart and NO kid. I get lots of starnge looks. :(

That makes sense...you stuff a carpet into the worlds tiniest shopping cart and the catfood gets lost in the tractor trailer sized grocery cart!

You think YOU get strange looks?

Try sitting in one and letting your 8 year old push you! :D

WildIrish 02-27-2006 12:30 PM

Bonjour Jacques! :D

osuche 02-27-2006 12:31 PM

If you come join me shopping, I'll push you. ;)
