Pondering

A friend and I recently had a discussion on whether or not nudism is environmentally unfriendly.

The theory is that when someone practices nudism at home, they turn the heat up more to compensate for the clothes they are not wearing.

I maintain that it would either a) balance out with turning down the A/C in the summer, and b) they would be more likely to invest in more energy efficient appliances and windows to keep their costs down.

Thoughts?

I think you should contact Bush. This sounds like something he'd be able to use as an Energy Plan.

I'm always cheap & naked a lot. If I'm cold, I'll drape a pashmina around my (ample) bosum & bum.

Let me know when you get cold Steph, and I’ll send you the pashmina I made for you from all natural fiber materials. :D

doesn't making clothing use energy? aren't synthetic fibers a pollutant? even the animals and plants we get "natural" fibers from pollute in one form or another.

You're so sweet! My friends & I are here having a pillow fight in our panties & were going to invite you until we saw your attachment (pun intended).

Not that I'm an expert, or know anyone that is, but what I know of nudists is that they are not extremists...in other words, they do put on clothing when practicality dictates...

Nudism cannot be anything except environmentally unfriendly.

Look at the number of flower beds you trample just to get a short glimpse of the 17 year old

nudist in number 27.

And as for that Mrs Jenkins in Number 14, weeeeellllll.

If you live as a naked couple, let me tell you, there's no need to turn the heating up! :D

All of that considered...the reduction in environmental impact realized by not making clothing would be far offset by all the extra tissues being used. :D
