First Snow for Our Area this Year.
 

Just got about 2-3" of snow last night and it looked awfully pretty this morning so I took a few pictures. Hope you enjoy.

That looks like over here in Iowa. We got the same amount last night.
Yes it is very pretty and it puts you in the christmas spirit.

I agree with Lil, its soooo pretty. DB can come for a visit? I will bring the sunshine and you can give me some snow. For starters. ;)

And people choose to live inside these ice-boxes.

Reminds me of an old quote about a man with his head in a blast furnace and his feet in

a freezer is on average pretty OK.

We're just getting a little snow ourselves... although it's really wet and isn't sticking.

We may get a bit down here tomorrow, though it probably won't be as pretty as yours.

Not our first, but our first real snow. Last week we had a couple inches that was gone in a day or so. Then we had our Indian Summer on Monday when it was up to 69F (21C). LMAO It started yesterday and we now have 7” (18cm), but it’s not getting TOO cold, 20F (-6C), but I’m still not going out in the wind to take pics. LMAO

Not sure it'll amount to anything, but I was just helping at a fish fry and it started snowing lightly as I left to come home. Not much expected until next Tuesday, then maybe a little more. It's pretty, but awfully cold here right now.

How cold is "awfully cold"? Is that somewhere on Kelvin Scale or on Fred's?
