Hi fellow Pixies. I have a question for those that live in the US (as I don’t). I have received a certificate from an organisation calling itself ‘National Awards Commission’. Its address is PO Box 45035 Kansas City MO 64171-8035 USA. Apparently they are offering to eligible recipients (and I qualify) to pay a large sum of money (I figured out that this is probably a scam), but I am interested in knowing who they are and what they are up to. I have a contact name Stuart B McClelland who claims to be the Award Commissioner for this organisation. They claim that the award (read money) is from the National Award Program #061 Series Q. Guess that’s it. Can anyone shed light on this please. Regards erotic51 :)

No money asked, they are offering to give me £23K per year for the next 30 years or a lump payment of £330K and I also can't find any info on the web. Thats what makes it so strange. :)

In UK do you have something akin to a Better Business Bureau? It is worth checking it out......How do they want you to collect??????

There are several business within & outside of Missouri that are currently being prosecuted for such scams. Missouri is attempting to take a strong stand against them. If you do have a better business bureau (or an equivalent) you should report this.

I always hold true to that wonderful saying....

"If it sounds too good to be true...it probably is"

The Nigerian scams get me...they have been so widely reported and yet still people fall for them. I bet I can a letter a month from some deposed general or his widow or son offering me millions. Very authentic lol......usually from a hotmail or yahoo mail addy!
