it's well known that girls do speak / moan / SCREAM during sex.
but what about men? i mean, i'm as silent as a fish regarding the moaning stuff, and ocasionally say a few words.
AND are ladies atracted by a silent male or by the oposite ????

As a virgin I can't really comment, but I've noticed that I'm super-silent during masterbation. And if I consciously force myself to speak/moan etc, I feel like I'm trying too hard to be a porn star!

on one hand i like to make noise on the other hand kind of shy. this reminded me of the beginning of the summer getting a room in ac. had looked at many rooms to book on web. when i woke in the morning kind of blushed when i heard noises in the hall and realized that no this wasn't the place with soundprooofed rooms

When I was younger and had just started having sex, I was much more quiet, just because of the tension- i had no idea what I was doing. And then when I lived in the dorms, being quiet was a necessity (if not always an option) :) But now that both I and my girlfriend have the whole apartment to ourselves, we're able to relax and enjoy what's going on, and sex is much louder.

These days women who are quiet during sex seem to be considered 'repressed' or not as 'good in bed' as their screaming sisters, and yet my experience (which admittedly is pretty limited) of men is that they are very quiet. Often because they are suppressing the grunts moans and roars that come natuarlly during sex.
I don't think anyone likes their partner to 'over act' when it comes to the sounds they make, but isn't it about time that men were encouraged to be a little more 'animal' in bed? It seems that we women are the only ones making ourselves vulnerable. . .

My Fiance (as of Monday, hurray for me) is completely quiet, and mostly so am I. Like tertiary_3 mentioned its because of living in an apartment I share with other people. From my past experience I know I can be a moaner, grunter, heavy breather when there is a little privacy. I guess I will find out about her later.

I'm not a very verbal lover I'm afraid. I tend to watch my partner's eyes for indications. I usually say what's working and what might be a different approach but I've never been a shout it out loud kind. Of course, we all tend to be different with different lovers so who knows? My incentive to shout from the rooftops may be somewhere out there. I've certainly seen some pics lately that made me talk to myself. ;-)
