What brand of batteries do you use to power your *ahem*....hand tools?

Right now...I've got some fresh Energizers, and my oh my...they are lively!

Duracell's are pretty good too......seem to last a while, which is very important :D!

I'm not a woman but I have a suggestion.Use a household current
one;so that you don't have to worry about dead batteries!Have a
(backup battery one)for power outages. Irish
P.S.Yes;it's expensive;but one must consider lifes priorities.
Fingers are free in an emergency!

Irish, household current has two BIG drawbacks...


first, I was ALWAYS afraid of being electrocuted, even if the toy DID say it was "waterproof"..was it REALLY?? Was someone gonna find me DEAD and fried with a toy melted to my...um....well...YOU know where?? :eek:


The second problem is that they aren't as portable. I don't have any plug in near my computer that I could use one and the cord wasn't even long enough for me to have fun in my own BED!


Oh..that would be a third drawback I guess...the CORD!

Ya could CHOKE to death on that thing if ya did just a wee bit of rollin' around....dontcha know? :eek: :eek:


Sooooooooooo dear man, batteries really are the way to go. :D

P.P.S.You can even get an adapter;for your car!Just plug it into the Power outlet or lighter.If you don't have one;use the hot terminal on the fusebox!

How about two sets of high capacity NIMH rechargeables and a good charger? That is some money to invest, but you won´t have to care more for buying batteries for a looong time.
I have a battery driven milk mixer that seems to run better with rechargeables than with cheap standard batteries (for the higher current they perform).

Irish, there's still a huge problem with strangulation with an extension cord. Also, I'm allergic to latex, so using a condom wouldn't work either. (You keep coming up with ideas big guy, and I'll keep coming up with reasons why they won't work, ok? LOL LOL LOL LOL)

OH and fingers are fine and nice but when ya wanna have the big *O*...a vibe is much more effective. Besides, I'd hate to injure my hand and then have to explain it to the doctor! :eek: :p

German Steve---I have had two rechargeable flashlights now!You
flip up some attached prongs;and plug them in and they recharge!
I used to work nights;and they were great!They eventually;won't
hold a charge.Sort of like a Sulfated car/motorcycle battery;they'll
take a charge;but won't hold it.I never dealt with rechargeable
batteries themselves.Hopefully;they don't do the same thing!

you can get non latex condoms they are pvc i think
and not as expensive as animal skin by the way irish
i dout animal skin condoms are non conductive
i think you can get vibes that charge up :)

all batteries basically last the same amount of time, whether they're cheap or expensive. so just buy the old cheapos, works just as good.

I have told people about this before!In the local mall here;they have a dollar store.You can;usually buy batteries(the way;they
come)per set;Example:2 Ds,2 Cs,4 AAs,etc.,for a dollar.I have gotten them before&they have always been one of the major
brands.If;you have one near you;it would be worth investigating.
Awnsers to questions are free!See if they have them.At that price;
a backup set is easily affordable. Irish

The main difference between cheap batteries and expensive ones is that the cheap ones run out when they are empty. So take care not to leave them too long time in the joy-stick.
One reason more for rechargeables.
